At the end of August 2024, our team will compete with others from all over the world to detect the biomarker creatinine, which is a marker for detecting kidney failure. This is a disease that influences many. Patients suffer from various different symptoms like cramps, extreme tiredness, nausea and confusion. It is important that these patients get the right and best treatment for them, which is why we are eager to work on the development of a continuous biosensor for creatinine... Our multidisciplinary team currently consists of 7 bachelor and master students, from Medical Science and Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science and Applied Physics. We all come from different backgrounds, with our own interests and goals, and we will make sure to be a synergistic team ready to compete and contribute to an improvement of people's quality of life...
