Mrs Rosie Button

Rosie Button has been on staff at Redcliffe since September 2014. Most recently, she acts as Course Facilitator for the MA in Member Care. Rosie felt called into missions as a teenager, and first went as a short termer at the age of 25 to teach RE and English at a school in Zambia. She returned to England to do an MA in Missiology at All Nations Christian College. Dan and Rosie's two teenage children were born in Harare. Upon leaving Zimbabwe in 2002 they were visiting scholars at Redcliffe for one year, and then went to teach at Uganda Christian University (formerly the Bishop Tucker Theological College.) Rosie taught NT Greek, Old Testament and New Testament, ran a women students' fellowship and was co-ordinator of a children's library. Returning to England in 2011, Rosie worked as a librarian for Westminster Theological Centre and also Redcliffe. As well as her interest in missions and Africa, Rosie loves reading, art, nature and walking.

Chris is married to Anita, and they have two children, Susie and Jonathan. He grew up in Uganda, where his father, John, taught New Testament Greek at Bishop Tucker Theological College. At the age of 10 he returned to the UK and went to school in Norwich. He studied English at Aberystwyth University, worked for a year in a youth centre in Liverpool, then trained at Wycliffe Hall. Chris has worked in parishes in Rochester Diocese and Harare, Zimbabwe. For the last 8 years he was Bishop's Adviser for Links in Rochester Diocese and vicar of St Andrew's church, Paddock Wood, Kent. He is currently Ecumenical and Global Partnership Officer for Bristol Diocese.
