Amy Warren

Your instructor for this 3 day intensive is Amy Warren. Amy has an extensive digital marketing background specializing in paid search marketing. She works for MEC Global, a WPP company that buys 1/3 of all the advertising in the world. Developing and implementing the digital strategy, Amy manages account teams for Fortune 100 and 500 clients across numerous verticals. Through her leadership, she was the 2011 and 2012 OMMA award for SEM recipient and was the 2013 OMMA award finalist for her work in the search space. She also won the agency-wide 2012 Original Thinking Award for Best Use of Mobile. Amy holds two Masters' of Business Administration degrees from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Kyoto Sangyo University-Japan where she completed her degree in Japanese. Prior to this, she worked in Tokyo for Japan's largest consulting firm, JAL Academy as a research assistant conducting research on global competencies for leading Japanese companies. Brett Lohmeyer

Brett Lohmeyer uses analytics to help clients put all the pieces together-from identifying KPIs to finding the right data to measure those KPIs and then collecting that data. He's been in digital marketing for over 10 years and is the Director of Analytics and Decision Science at Anvil Analytics + Insights in Clayton, Mo. Brett has worked on projects for the St. Louis Federal Reserve, St. Louis Children's Hospital, the Society of Actuaries, and many other organizations around the country on their web analytics projects. He graduated in 2005 from Webster Unversity with a degree in Video Production but found his passion for web analytics a few years after starting his professional career. Brianna Miller is a Digital and Social Media Marketing Strategist specializing in creating and implementing inbound marketing strategies for small and large companies. She currently serves as the Integrated Marketing Manager at TeraRecon, the largest independent provider and a global leader in advanced image processing innovation for CT, MR, and PET; where she develops cross-departmental digital marketing strategies to nurture and grow TeraRecon's global customer base. Brianna is the creator and author of the popular blog Being Your Brand and runs a large Twitter following focused on connecting with and educating others on digital marketing. She is also an Adjunct Professor at UMSL where she teaches the Social Media Strategy course for the Digital Marketing Certificate program. Brianna is the Executive Director for the record-breaking Midwest Digital Marketing Conference and has served as the Vice President of the Social Media Club St. Charles. She began her career as a Brand Strategist at Mudbug Media, an interactive media agency in New Orleans, where she was responsible for the creation and implementation social media strategies for key clients, including independent medical practices, top-tier universities, regional hospitals, and Fortune 1000 global corporations. Jill Alexander, APR, Fellow PRSA, is Associate Teaching Professor and Public Relations Certificate Coordinator at UMSL Dept. of Communication & Media. Following a 30-year career in public relations and corporate communication, she brings a wealth of expertise in media relations, corporate communication, internal communication, crisis communication, community relations and social media content creation to the classroom. She is an Adobe Creative Educator and is also certified as an effective college instructor by the Association of College and University Educators. In a previous role as senior director, corporate communication, Alexander has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Sun-Sentinel (Fort Lauderdale), Miami Herald, Denver Post, Kansas City Star, St. Louis Post Dispatch, St. Louis Business Journal, Pittsburgh Post, Pittsburgh Tribune, Quad-City Times, Waterloo Courier, SEMissourian (Cape Girardeau), Vicksburg Post, Natchez Democrat, Mobile Press Register, Biloxi Sun-Herald and numerous television stations across the United States. Scott is the Director of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center and Assistant Teaching Professor of Entrepreneurship in the College of Business Administration at the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL). He moved to higher education after having spent 30 years in the corporate world. His corporate life was dedicated to helping various employers develop and implement scaling strategies that have led to significantly better than market growth rates. During his tenure, three employers more than doubled revenue and one quadrupled revenue. His experiences are in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Mergers and Acquisition, Marketing, and Division President roles. He has served in various B2B and B2C industries including software, manufactured components, specialty chemicals, and technology. He has worked for four private equity-owned businesses, completed numerous acquisitions, sold multiple businesses, and been part of two IPOs. Most recently, Scott led global Corporate Development & Strategy, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, at Xplor Technologies. Scott has a BA from DePauw University, an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and DBA from the University of Missouri -St. Louis.
