Diane E. Vanassa

Diane is one of our paralegals and the office manager. She completed the Penn State Paralegal Certification Program with highest distinction in April 1995. She passed the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam administered through the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc.® in May of 1997 and is a PACE® Registered Paralegal. Diane has been a Pennsylvania Certified Paralegal through the Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations since May 2011 and a member of the Pittsburgh Paralegal Association since 1992. She has been with the firm since December 1991.

James W. Manolis

Attorney Manolis received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1986. He has been licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania since 1986. He is admitted to practice law before all Pennsylvania courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Lawrence County Bar Association and has been a member of its Executive Committee and its Treasurer since 1988. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. He has been the opinion editor for the Lawrence Law Journal and the District & County Reporter since 1988. He has also attained the status of Advocate through the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, National College of Advocacy. He served as solicitor for the City of New Castle from 1996-2008 and as solicitor for the Borough of Seven Fields from 2012 to 2018, and currently serves as solicitor for the Lawrence County Economic Development Corporation, and the Lawrence-Hickory Municipal Authority. Attorney Manolis has attained the "AV Preeminent" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. This rating signifies that a large number of his peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence for legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards. Theodore A. Saad

Attorney Saad received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Westminster College in 1995 and his Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 2000. He has been licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania since 2000. He is a member of the Lawrence County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He served as assistant solicitor for the city of New Castle from 2001-2004. He currently serves as solicitor for the City of New Castle and Lawrence County Treasurer.

William J. Manolis

Attorney Manolis received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009 and his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law in 2013. During law school, he was the Web Editor and Developer of JURIS_Blog from 2012-2013, as well as a Staff Writer for Juris Magazine's Winter 2013 and Spring 2013 issues. He was also a Junior Staff Writer for the Duquesne Business Law Journal and had his case note published in its Volume 15-1. He has been licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania since 2013. He serves on the Lawrence County Bar Association Executive Committee as the Lawrence County YLD Chairperson for the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Lawrence County Bar Associations. He has served as a presenter for continuing legal education programs given through the National Business Institute. Attorney Manolis has been involved in reported cases including: Klar v.
