Jaleh brings her heart and passion to the office every day. Her personal story, academic research and unrelenting determination helps to guide W4SG forward.
As the Founder of W4SG, Jaleh is passionate about building bridges and women's economic participation.
She holds a MSc in Development Studies and is currently studying her PhD at Lund University. Through her dissertation Jaleh will explore the various dynamics contributing to women's labour force participation in the Middle East. Using a comparative approach, the project aims to situate the findings within the current debates around women's economic status, social policy and development in other developed and developing countries.
As part of her work, she has spearheaded and facilitated a number of events, programs and initiatives aimed at creating co-learning and meaningful relationships between the Nordic and GCC regions.
