Dr. Matthew Breuninger

Dr. Breuninger, MA, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist with a Doctoral degree from Baylor University. Before pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology, Dr. Breuninger received a Master's degree in Theology from Ave Maria University. During his doctoral work at Baylor University, he pursued research interests at the intersection of faith and psychology. Clinically, Dr. Breuninger focuses on treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse. He has had extensive experience treating combat trauma in military populations as well as addressing substance abuse issues with incarcerated persons. He uses cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches (ACT & DBT), and an interpersonal process framework when working with clients. He is the author of Finding Freedom in Christ: Healing Life's Hurts. When not working, Dr. Breuninger can be found hiking, fishing, and enjoying time with his family.

John-Paul Dombrowski

John-Paul Dombrowski is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. He received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in trauma and crisis counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville where he previously received his BA in Clinical Psychology with a minor in philosophy. John-Paul practices out of the relational model, meaning that he places a big emphasis on the meaningful relationships in our lives. In therapy he helps individuals to identify unhelpful patterns, where these patterns come from, and how we can change these patterns in the present moment. His therapy strikes a balance between seeking to change the things that we can, and learning to accept the things that we cannot change. Therapy with John-Paul is organic, and focuses on creating a climate of deep understanding and compassion. With an appreciation for the uniqueness of each person, he believes that we all make sense, and we can come to a better place in the present through emotional insight into our past. He focuses on cultivating simple practices that teach us practically how to stay in the present moment without getting swept away by our emotions. He also specializes in Prolonged Exposure therapy, the leading trauma treatment for PTSD. Outside of therapy, John-Paul enjoys camping with friends and family, all types of adventure, smoking cigars, and caring for his Bonsai trees.

Troy Fulford

Job Titles:

Troy Fulford, MDiv, MA, MFT received his Master of Divinity degree from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary and his Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University. Clinically, Troy views "problems" from a family systems perspective, as opposed to viewing them from an individual lens. Whether you are coming for couples, family, or individual therapy, he will work with you on identifying all the factors in your system (family, school, work, etc.) that are contributing to the "problem." He is a firm believer that everything that makes you you should be explored in order to experience lasting change. Troy also has extensive experience treating clients struggling with eating disorders while working at an in-patient eating disorder facility in Florida. When working with clients, he utilizes structural therapy, narrative therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy among other evidenced-based methods of treatment. Originally from Tallahassee, FL (Go Noles!), Troy enjoys the sunshine on the beach, sports, and spending time with friends and family.
