With a background in education and a heart full of passion, Ashley's journey with us began in April 2022 as a Career Coordinator with STEMforGIRLS.
Her mission? To inspire young minds and break down barriers in STEM and career development. Before joining WRDC, Ashley was a dedicated teacher and guidance counsellor in coastal British Columbia. Her transition to our nonprofit world was a natural step, driven by her love for education and the desire to make a difference. Since her arrival, Ashley's impact has been remarkable.
She ignited the STEMforGIRLS school chapter program, reaching out to schools across Newfoundland and Labrador, especially in rural and remote areas. The result? Our first multi-school outing in April 2023 - a moment of pride for all of us.
