Swanage Bowling Club is a lawn bowls club based in Swanage Town Council's Beach Gardens, just off the seafront. Beach Gardens is also home to the Swanage Tennis Club and a popular 18 hole grass putting course. There is a shared Pavilion and the Club recently raised funds for a large translucent outdoor canopy to protect spectators from both rain and sun, under which they can enjoy the matches in more comfort. With views across the bay to the Isle of Wight, there is no better place to enjoy a game of bowls in good company!... My wish for the season is that we have a full, uninterrupted season of bowls and social events. I also hope we all enjoy these activities, joining in the social bowling, competitive leagues and competitions run by the club. Our club has always had the reputation of being a friendly, welcoming club - long may this continue!
