We are Marulin, a small but dedicated team based in London with deep roots in tea and Asian ingredients. Our founder comes from four generations of tea farmers in Taiwan, giving us a direct and personal link to the farms we work with. This connection allows us to share not only premium oolong teas and matcha, but also unique soy sauces and specialty ingredients that bring authentic flavours to the UK... We're CJ and Tim, the people behind Marulin. We met in the UK over afternoon tea - no joke! Tim works in finance, and I work as a scientist with a family background in tea. I grew up drinking oolong from our gardens, and as I built my career in science, I also learnt the craft of tea farming from my family and our tea friends. With their guidance, I began teaching tea - first as a hobby, then professionally to university students and chefs around the world...
