Dr Frans Hugo graduated as a psychiatrist in South Africa and worked as a lecturer in academic practice before establishing a private psychiatry and memory clinic in Cape Town. He relocated to Australia in 2009 and now works as a psychiatrist in public and private practice. He has more than 25 years of experience in mental health and has a special interest in older adult mental health and neuropsychiatry. He is also a dad and spouse to a vibrant family and in his spare time an amateur photographer.

Dr John Adegboye is a Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in General Adult Psychiatry and Addictive Disorders, or Substance Use Disorders. He also provides specialist treatment for Anxiety & Mood Disorders, ADHD, and Personality Disorders. He offers Workers' Compensation claims, medico-legal assessments, and tele-health psychiatry.
Dr Adegboye's approach to the treatment of his patients is holistic with a combination of psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy. He is also very cognisant of the spiritual needs of his patients and considers this when offering treatment.
After graduating in Nigeria in 1988 Dr Adegboye completed his postgraduate study in Psychiatry at the West African College of Physicians in Psychiatry in 1997.
He then relocated to Australia and trained in the Western Australian public health sector as a registrar until 2004 before gaining his Australian Fellowship at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
Dr Adegboye worked extensively in the public sector for ten years and in 2012 also commenced working with Abbotsford Private Hospital.
In 2016 he commenced his dedicated fulltime private practice at Abbotsford Psychiatry.
Dr Adegboye is an accredited Member of the Faculty of Addiction Psychiatry and is also a member of the special interest group, Intellectual Disability Psychiatry. He promotes good cultural awareness and recognises the importance of working with families and carers for the treatment of his patients.
Dr Chapman is a Consultant Psychiatrist with an interest in General Adult Psychiatry. He specialises in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and Attachment Disorders.
He provides Medico Legal Assessments, Workers Compensation and Telehealth consultations.
Dr Chapman works collaboratively with his patients in order to achieve best patient outcomes and has particular interest in Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), a non-invasive and proven alternative treatment for depression. He also has a developing interest in Nutritional Psychiatry.
Dr Chapman trained in London at Royal Free Imperial College and South Thames, specialising in Adult, Addiction and Forensic Psychiatry. he obtained his MBBS in the UK and worked in London in the field of General Adult Psychiatry.
In 2000, Dr Chapman moved to Sydney, Australia then to the Kimberley region of Western Australia in 2001.
In 2010 he obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) after spending many years working with the Indigenous population and obtaining advanced experience in the treatment of mental health conditions.
Dr Chapman relocated to Perth and commenced private practice at Abbotsford Psychiatry in 2016.
Dr Peter Hoffman is a Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in General Adult Psychiatry, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Emotional overeating, and Transcultural psychiatry. He has an interest in Spiritual Practice as a modality of healing.
Dr Hoffman's practice beliefs are endorsing a holistic approach combining psychotherapy and a nutritional medicine approach to managing psychological illness.
He has a specific interest in nutritional medicine with a particular emphasis on gut-brain axis modification and epigenetics coupled with brain-based psychotherapy and rebalancing the brain.
Dr Hoffman has trained extensively in a number of psychotherapeutic methods including psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness-based CBT, sensorimotor psychotherapy, the comprehensive resource model, and the circle of security attachment based intervention.
In 1989 Dr Hoffman graduated from studies at the University of Cape Town, South Africa with MHCHB. In 2004 he obtained his fellowship in Western Australia with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
Dr Hoffman started private practice in 2005 and has been with Abbotsford Psychiatry since its inception and continues to adopt an integrated approach to treating all patients.
He has been instrumental in forming an integrative psychiatrist peer review group with the RANZCP and is a member of Biobalance.
He served in the military for eight years and is insightful into the complexity and challenges faced by current and retired service personnel. He welcomes DVA referrals.
Dr Hoffman enjoys strength training, yoga and bushwalking and has an interest in genealogy.
Dr Sanjeev Sharma is a Consultant Psychiatrist with an interest in General Adult Psychiatry. He specialises in Psychotic illnesses, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Addictive Disorders, and Transcultural Psychiatry. He offers Telehealth consultations and adopts a nutritional, medicinal approach to managing psychological illness.
Dr Sharma trained in India and worked at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuroscience (NIMHANS) in Bangalore.
In 2002 he relocated to Perth, Western Australia and completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) in 2011.
Dr Sharma has worked across various streams at Royal Perth Hospital and continues to work in acute settings in the public sector, alongside his dedicated practice at Abbotsford Psychiatry. He is currently completing his Fellowship in Addiction medicine from the Royal College of Physicians (RACP), Fellowship of Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and Masters in Clinical Nutrition.
With a treatment philosophy that combines both eastern and western medicine, Dr Sharma offers a holistic approach to healing and believes that each patient is unique and should be treated as such. He places great emphasis on lifestyle and dietary choices. As part of the treatment interventions he carries out advanced pathology to create treatment plans tailored for each patient, in conjunction with a pharmaceutical and psychological approach.
Dr Sharma regularly speaks on Integrated Approaches in Mental Health at both public and professional forums.
He is a member of organisations including Biobalance and ACNEM that actively promote a holistic approach to maintaining wellness. He has also been instrumental in forming an integrative psychiatrists' peer review group within the RANZCP.
Dr Sharma speaks Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and English. He offers consultations and second opinions in these languages.
