All of our confectionery is handmade and we make all of our products in original copper boiling pans (the oldest one dating back to 1919!) ensuring our products are boiled to perfection & helping to give our confectionery that classic, quality taste. We are also proud to say our confectionery has won several awards over the years, most recently ‘Great Taste Awards' from the Guild of Fine Food in both 2019 & 2022... Amy Smith's was founded in Doncaster, in 1986 by Alec Smith and his wife Amy, who had a passion for confectionery, a love of fudge and all things sweet! Starting out with only eight flavours of fudge & five toffees Alec & Amy began supplying local sweet shops before having to sell the business in 1989 due to ill health.
