CATHY THEAKER

I am a Coach, Counsellor, Supervisor, Trainer and Lecturer, with over 25 years' experience in personal and professional development, working with clients from a diverse range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, individuals with disabilities, within contexts including Higher and Further Education, NHS, Young Peoples Services, Drug and Alcohol Agencies. I have a speciality in health and well-being and an interest in the interface between psychological therapies and mindfulness... I previously worked as a Lecturer in Counselling and my MA research investigated coaches' experiences of integrating mindfulness into coaching practice. I have also worked as a Counsellor in two universities, offering counselling, coaching, delivery of bespoke psycho-educational training and mindfulness groups for students and staff; consultancy supervision groups for staff.
