Christiana grew up in Houston, Texas and moved to Dallas shortly after graduating from Baylor University. She graduated from Baylor with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and after a few years went back to school at Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Her professional career includes time spent as a client account representative for a contractor safety management software company, a registered nurse for a Surgical Oncology Unit at Baylor University Medical Center, and an RN Coordinator for the Ambulatory Care Clinic at Scottish Rite for Children. Christiana is thrilled to work for the Carrell Care Community Partners as she feels it is such a rewarding role and the perfect way to mesh her business and nursing talents. When she is not actively engaged with the CCCP, she enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their two young boys.

Dana Martinez

Dana has been working for Dr. Cooper and the Carrell Care Community Partners since April 2021. She grew up in Keller, Texas, and now resides in Plano, Texas. She is proud to be a part of the Carrell Care Community Partners team and enjoys seeing the positive impact made on people's lives who normally would not have any resources for help. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, two grandchildren, and pets.

Daniel E. Cooper - Chairman, Founder, President

Dr. Cooper is a Dallas native and senior partner of the Carrell Clinic. He has practiced orthopedic sports medicine since 1990, and is widely regarded for his expertise. Dr. Cooper is a widely recognized authority in the field of orthopedic sports medicine. He is currently the head team physician for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team and formerly for the Dallas Stars Hockey Team (1993-2011). He has served as a team physician in professional sports for over 30 combined seasons. In addition, Cooper is the exclusive US Consultant to Real Madrid Club Football in Liga BBVA of the Spanish Premier Division. He serves as an independent consultant to numerous collegiate and professional teams, sports agents and their players. Dr. Cooper has published over 70 scientific articles and book chapters, and participated as faculty in over 50 instructional course lectures. Dr. Cooper is an internationally known expert in the treatment of complex knee ligament injuries involving injury to the anterior cruciate, posterior cruciate and collateral ligaments, and his practice serves as a referral center for difficult and revision cases. Additionally, he is the inventor and co-developer of the new Single Portal Arthroscopy system (Stryker Endoscopy). Dr. Cooper is currently a lead investigator and Scientific Advisory Board Member for the award winning and NIH funded Multicenter ACL Revision Study (MARS), researching outcomes in over 1200 ACL revision surgeries. He has developed and published new techniques for PCL reconstruction in the knee, and he is the lead investigator in published technical and clinical studies related to single portal arthroscopy. Dr. Cooper is an editorial reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine, the Journal of Arthroscopic Surgery and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. He has published over 70 scientific articles and book chapters as well as the textbook, Review of Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy in two editions. A Dallas native, son of a physician and graduate of Highland Park High School, Dr. Cooper attended the University of Tennessee on full athletic scholarship, where he was a Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate in 3 years, the captain of their top ten nationally ranked tennis team, holder of two Southeastern Conference tennis titles, and twice the recipient of the President's Citation for Extraordinary Academic Achievement. He received an early acceptance to UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He was awarded the prestigious Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Cornell University's Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, which has repeatedly been named the #1 Orthopedic Hospital in the country by US News. While there he trained on both the Sports Medicine Knee and Shoulder Services under the direction of Russell F. Warren, MD, the longtime team doctor for the New York Giants and renowned pioneer of modern sports medicine research and surgical techniques. Dr. Cooper is a founder and the President of the Carrell Care Community Partners, a nonprofit charity whose mission is to support research, education, charitable care and patient advocacy in the field of musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr. David Ewalt

Dr. David Ewalt, MD is a native Texan from El Paso where his father was a plastic surgeon and his mother a nurse. Dr. Ewalt returned to Dallas in 1992 to join the Urology faculty at UT Southwestern with a sub-specialization in pediatric urology at Children's Medical Center Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. J.C. Montgomery

J. C. Montgomery, Jr., joined the staff of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in 1974 and was named president in 1989. He is a native of Millington, Tennessee, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond and his Master of Public Health, Hospital Administration, degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He completed his administrative residency at Baylor University Medical Center and worked for five years on staff at Parkland Hospital. J. C. is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on numerous professional, civic and Masonic organizations.

James M. "Mac" Stewart

Lori Carrell Mann

Lori is the great granddaughter of W.B. Carrell and granddaughter of Brandon Carrell. Her family is honored to be part of the legacy of the Carrell Clinic as well as Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Lori is a 1982 Graduate of Southern Methodist University. For the last 25 years, Lori has held leadership positions in women's Bible Studies, including Bible Study Fellowship and those in her church, Park Cities Presbyterian. She also serves on the boards of One Hundred Shares and Behind Every Door, Dallas based non-profits who serve those in need. She and her husband, Jeff, have 3 married children and 7 grandchildren.

Michael Patyk

Ray M. "Mac" Lawson

Ray M. Lawson (known as Mac) is a Dallas native that grew up around the doctors of the Carrell Clinic. His father, Dr. Lee Ray Lawson, was one of the original members of the Carrell Clinic. Mac serves on the board of the L. Ray Lawson international pediatric spine fellowship at Scottish Rite Hospital and is the President of the Lawson Asset Management Partnership (LAMP) which provides clean, safe, affordable housing in the Dallas area. He and his wife, Kay, along with their three children, McKinley, Madelyne and Miles share a house with Austin, an overweight black lab.
