Chetonya Perkins, a native of Clarksdale, MS, serves as the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi (CHCAMS). In her role, she will provide technical assistance, training, and leadership to Health Center Staff and Community Members around emergency management planning and implementation. Chetonya will also collaborate with other Primary Care Association Emergency Management Coordinators around the country to share strategies that will increase emergency management effectiveness at Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). She brings over 20 years of developing community partnerships, health advocacy and raising awareness on key health issues in communities across the State of Mississippi. Chetonya is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Jackson and a Certified Community Health Advisor. She also holds a certificate from FEMA's Emergency Management Institute. Mrs. Perkins earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Public Health from Jackson State University.

Ms. Dismuke is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. She serves as Human Resources Manager. Ms. Dismuke brings over 20 years of experience in the non-profit arena. Cynthia Dismuke joined CHCAMS in 2021 and serves as the Human Resource Manager and Workforce Development Liaison. Dr. Christopher Roby, a native of Shelby, Mississippi, serves as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi. Dr. Roby is a seasoned Professor of Sociology at Strayer University and Adjunct Faculty in the School of Public Health at Jackson State University. He is a highly motivated professional with public health and behavioral science experience in research and evaluation, public health management, organizational leadership, grant development, and grant reviewer for state/federal/private/ funds. Dr. Roby has 17 years of professional administrative experience, exceptional knowledge of scientific practices, and capacity building assistance. He has been a community activist for the LGBTQ community while lending support to individuals from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Dr. Roby has managed 15 prevention interventions projects involving smoking cessation, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, breast/cervical/prostate cancer, and HIV/STIs. Dr. Roby has also developed various quality improvement workgroups for HIV/AIDS and Hypertension Projects.

Joseph Grice

Joseph Grice, MPH, currently serves as Chief Value Officer, for the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi. He is responsible for providing leadership of PCCM for an FQHC-only Accountable Care Organization in the move towards value-based care and manages the day-to-day operations of a Health Center Controlled Network via a Management Services Agreement with the PCA to build and sustain a population health analytics infrastructure. He also liaises between the different entities to provide leadership towards a strong training and technical assistance infrastructure. Mr. Grice holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Mississippi State University and a Masters of Public Health, with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Jackson State University. Prior to serving at CHCAMS, Mr. Grice managed a federally funded HIV/AIDS surveillance project for the Mississippi State Department of Health. He also has extensive experience in survey and focus group design. Mr. Grice is a native of Carthage, Mississippi and now resides in Pearl.

Kathryn Rodenmeyer, APR, is the Director of Communications for the CHCAMS. She has more than 30 years of experience in public relations and media production. Kathryn has run trade and non-profit organizations, implemented public relations initiatives, and produced award-winning TV documentaries during her career. Her most recent media work was for Mississippi Public Broadcasting's health care series Southern Remedy. Kathryn received her bachelor's degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She earned her accreditation in the practice of public relations (APR), sanctioned by the Public Relations Society of America. Kathryn has completed coursework at the University of Mississippi Medical Center's School of Population Health to earn a post-baccalaureate Advanced Certificate in Population Health Science (expected May 2022).

Kizmet Cleveland, MA, CHW, a native of Tupelo, MS, currently serves as the Coordinator of HIV Special Projects for the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi. She has worked in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention/case management, community engagement and public health education for over 20 years. Her vision is to educate individuals that experience social stigmas associated with healthcare. Ms. Cleveland has previously served four years as a member of the Mississippi Department of Health HIV/AIDS Community Planning Council, a stakeholder for the Southeastern Health Equity Council (SHEC) Region IV and served four terms of services to the Mississippi Delta Service Corps of Ameri*Corps VISTA program. Maria D. Morris, LMSW, a Program Consultant with the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi (CHCAMS), is the project manager for the Baby & Me Tobacco Free Program, the ACA Outreach & Enrollment Coordinator. She also provides technical assistance and training to support the development and implementation of the Perinatal High-Risk Infant Management System (PHRMISS). She has been the project manager of other programs such as Strong Start for Mothers & Babies and the Self-Made Tobacco Cessation Marketplace Project. Her past work experience includes over 30 years in public service with the State of Mississippi, i.e., State CHIP Director, District V Social Work Supervisor, State Office Social Work Consultant and Special Project Officer. Prior to joining CHCAMS, she worked in the Katrina Recovery efforts in MS and Louisiana with a faith-based organization as Director of Case Management. Starting in December of 2009, Michael began working for East Central MS Health Care Inc in Sebastopol MS as EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Coordinator. Over the years, he learned about MEANINGFUL USE, UDS, and Patient Centered Medical Home in the FQHC environment. Sonja R. Fuqua, Ph.D., RN, is the Chief Clinical Services Officer for the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi. With over 30 years in nursing, her experiences range from Obstetric nursing (clinical) to Manager of Research and Recruitment with the Jackson Heart Study (10yrs), to four years with G. A. Carmichael Family Health Center (GACFHC), one of the CHCAMS member Community Health Centers. While with GACFHC, she served as the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Director and was responsible for overseeing the organization's readiness for PCMH recognition and completing the application process for which Level 2 recognition was achieved. Sonja R. Fuqua, Ph.D., RN, PCMH CCE is the Chief Clinical Services Officer and Patient-Centered Medical Home Content Expert for the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi. She established the Quality Improvement Workgroup, a statewide coordination of FQHC quality leaders, with a mission to identify clinical performance issues and support improved delivery of competent quality care through staff education and training. Dr. Fuqua has a bachelor's and master's in nursing and a doctorate in African American Studies. She brings 40 years of professional experience including nursing, research, programmatic leadership, and management. She has a passion for empowering others and excels in community engagement, coordination, and program implementation.

Terrence Shirley, MPH, is an experienced healthcare administration leader. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Shirley worked for eight years as Administrator of the Cancer Institute at the University of Miss. Medical Center (UMMC) and has been active in the health care industry since 1980. In addition to working at UMMC in various leadership roles since the late 1990s, Mr. Shirley has extensive experience as a director of federally supported community health centers and state-level public health services in the southeast. A few of the operational leadership positions he has held include: Region 4 Health Officer for Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services in Tampa FL; President/CEO of the Tampa Community Health Centers Inc., Interim-President/CEO, Tampa General Healthcare; and Administrator for Clinical Support Services, Ambulatory Operations, Radiation Oncology, and the UMMC Cancer Institute. In addition to operational leadership positions, he has served in governance leadership positions that include local, state, regional and national task forces, coalitions, and boards and currently serves on the Jackson Preparatory School board of directors. Mr. Shirley calls his appointment as CEO to the Association a homecoming. In the early days of the Community Health Center Association of Mississippi's establishment in the mid-1980s, Mr. Shirley assisted the Director in coordinating activities to meet the various educational, programmatic, and political needs of Mississippi's community health centers. Mr. Shirley has a Master of Public Health from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
