HUGOFOX

The Chelmsford Bowling Club currently has approximately 125 members, men and ladies, and is based at Tower Gardens, Roxwell Road, on the outskirts of Chelmsford town centre. There is a free public car park a short walk away... We have a social evening every Friday night, when members and their partners meet in the Club House. During the winter months we keep in contact with our members via a carpet bowls competition, and a crib team and there are many varied social events organised. At all functions our licenced bar is always open. We also have matches against Indoor clubs during the winter months... We pride ourselves on our hospitality and our bowling green, which is maintained to a very high level by the City Council Parks department. We host many representative games for the Essex County Bowling Association, ECBA Group 3 and also the Chelmsford and District Bowling Association. We have a full programme of friendly matches every weekend of the season and we are always happy to try..
