Welcome to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Chi Omega Omega Chapter's Website. It is an honor to serve as the Historic 101 tenth president. I am excited to Embrace the Power of Intentional Leadership, Service, and Sisterhood with the chapter, community members and partners. As we pivot from virtual to in-person programming due to the health pandemic, we continue to be committed to providing programs of service that foster strong relationship and community outreach in the following areas we serve: Bronzeville, Douglas, Englewood, Grand Boulevard, Hyde Park, Kenwood, Oakland, and Washington Park... Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was founded in 1908 and was the first organization designed for college-educated, African-American women. From its respectful beginnings at Howard University in Washington, D.C. more than a century ago to its worldwide footprint today, it is with great pride that the members of the Chi Omega Omega Chapter continue to advocate for and advance..
