Cordeiro Charitable Foundation is Anthony F. Cordeiro who also serves as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation. Anthony F. Cordeiro is a respected businessman and entrepreneur in the Greater Fall River Area owning and operating a number of companies as well as commercial real estate properties. A 1980 graduate of Durfee High School, he earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1984. He received his Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Finance, from Bryant College in 1992. Cordeiro previously held Series 7, Series 13, and Principal 24 Securities licenses. He currently holds his insurance licenses in Property Casualty, Life, Accident and Health. Cordeiro began his first business, Anthony F. Cordeiro Insurance Agency LLC in 1987 at just 24 years of age. Today, Anthony F. Cordeiro Insurance Agency is known as one of the top insurance providers in the region. Anthony F. Cordeiro is the CEO and President of Anthony F. Cordeiro Insurance Agency, LLC, and Cordeiro Properties, LLC. He is a Certified Chartered Pension Professional (CPP) and is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts. In addition to the many companies he solely owns, Cordeiro is also the Managing Partner of 28 limited liability corporations holding in excess of $80 million in real estate values. His most recent endeavors include: Cordeiro Financial Group, LLC, Mechanics Mill One, LLC and Mechanics Mill Two, LLC (the entities that own and operate Commonwealth Landing). Deeply vested in advancing the health and well-being of the Greater Fall River community, Cordeiro actively supports numerous area health, education, and civic projects. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Thomas Chew Memorial Boys & Girls Club. He previously served as President of the Board of Directors for Child & Family Services and was a member of the Board of Directors for St. Anne's Hospital, the Southcoast Health System/Charlton Memorial Hospital President's Council, Fall River Retirement Board, Bridgewater State College Business Advisory Council, and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's Advanced Technology Center Advisory Board. A member of Slade's Ferry Bank's Board of Directors, Cordeiro also served as a member of the financial institution's Executive Board and as Chairman of its Finance and Investment Board. He previously served as President of the Fall River Office of Economic Development and the Southeastern Massachusetts Heart Association. In his free time, Mr. Cordeiro enjoys golfing and spending time at his Naples, Florida, home with his wife Kyra and daughters Melanie and Merrill.

The wife of Anthony F. Cordeiro, Kyra met Tony while they were both students at BMC Durfee High School, where she graduated in 1981. She began her college career at Salve Regina University but later transferred to The University of Massachusetts-Amherst. A Political Science major, Kyra graduated in 1985, the same year that she and Tony married. After college, Kyra went to work for her family full-time at the Venus de Milo Restaurant & Banquet Facility as the Office Manager and Wedding Coordinator. In 1994, she opened her first of seven coffee shops called "The Roasted Bean." After 10 years of being a small business owner, Kyra decided to become a full-time mother to her two young daughters, Melanie and Merrill. The girls attended The Montessori School of the Angels in Westport, MA, where Kyra was very active in fundraising for the school. A great mother, she involved her daughters in many after school activities and sports including: soccer, basketball, lacrosse, dance, and gymnastics. A past member of the Kiwanis Club, Kyra is dedicated to giving back to her community and has received awards for her philanthropy work. Her previous volunteer experience includes sitting on the Development Board of St. Anne's Hospital and the Friends of St. Anne's Hospital. Kyra also co-chaired the very successful "Get Moving Walk" benefiting St. Anne's Hospital's Hudner Oncology Center for a decade raising more than one million dollars. In addition to serving as the Vice-President of the Anthony F. Cordeiro Charitable Foundation, Inc, Kyra is a member of the Friends of Greater Fall River. In her free time she enjoys reading mystery novels and spending time at her Naples, Florida, home. She is also a proud dog mom of two.

A graduate of Bryant University, Mark is committed to giving back to our community. Mark works directly with employers and Human Resources directors of both small and large companies to help them understand and navigate the changing climate of the health insurance industry. He analyzes renewals and develops and designs strategies to help negotiate pricing, while focusing on meeting our clients' objectives for their organizations. Mark also works with many of our commercial clients in assisting them with their other insurance needs, such as property and casualty insurance. Committed to giving back to our community, Mark serves on the Board of Directors for both the Thomas Chew Memorial Boys & Girls Club and the Fall River Office of Economic Development. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Anthony F. Cordeiro Charitable Foundation, Inc. He resides in Rehoboth with his wife and children.

Melanie joined the team part-time at Anthony F. Cordeiro Insurance Agency, LLC, as an administrative assistant in 2011. She graduated Cum Laude from Providence College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Upon graduation Melanie worked for Prima-CARE, P.C., as a Human Resources Analyst. She again joined the Cordeiro family business in 2016. In 2020, Melanie obtained her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth Charlton School of Business. In April 2023, she earned her Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University. Additionally, Melanie sits on the President's Council of Southcoast Hospitals Group and the Patient and Family Advisory Council of Southcoast Health. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Greater Fall River and is a commissioner on the Licensing Board of the City of Fall River. Melanie is a member of the Board of Directors of the Southcoast Insurance Agents Association and a member of the Board of Trustees for Argosy Collegiate Charter School. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with family & friends.
