Jim Al-Khalili is a scientist, author and broadcaster. He is Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Surrey, where he also holds a chair in the Public Engagement in Science.
As well has being a respected academic in the field of theoretical physics and atomic modelling, Jim has presented the BAFTA-nominated Chemistry: A Volatile History for the BBC, and is passionate about making science more accessible and interesting to the public. He appears regularly on TV and radio, presenting and contributing to science programmes on the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 including Tomorrow's World, The Riddle of Einstein's Brain, Genius of Britain, and Bang Goes the Theory.
Jim has also presented Atom, a three-part series for BBC Four, The Secret Life of Chaos, Order and Disorder, Gravity and Me, and Science and Islam, covering the leap in scientific knowledge that took place in the Islamic world between the 8th and 14th centuries. Currently Director of Data and Analytics at RWS, she works with offices around the world to harness the power of data. She is focused on growing the maturity of the data function, delivering value from data and building a revenue stream from data.
Passionate about data she is transforming data culture internationally by increasing data literacy and delivering timely analytics to the right people at the right time.
Marion believes that data literacy and understanding should be a basic skill and that everyone should have both the knowledge and opportunity to use data every day to make informed decisions. During the pandemic Marion contributed to a "Analytics Interpreted, A compilation of perspectives" which is a compilation of thought leadership, experienced-based perspective and frameworks across the spectrum of relevant topics in analytics, published by Women in Analytics.
Paul has worked for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service for 32 years, with 16 years of operational experience, he decided to take a promotion into the Community Safety Department. Paul had the reference for road safety, quickly excelling in bringing emerging technology to the forefront of road safety education.
Producing the VF4-360 film (Virtual Fatal Four), an immersive experience making training/learning enjoyable and engaging, and now used worldwide. Paul's next project would make the Fire Service look at current training methods. Virtual reality fire investigation, where a real scene would be copied and re-created as a digital twin, allowing for consistent, quality repeatable training in a hazard-free environment. Paul was then given the reference for Virtual Reality and emerging technologies and is now the subject matter expert within the UK's Fire and Rescue Service.

Before joining L&G Peter was Chief Data Officer at Southern Water after a period as Head of Data at The Pensions Regulator (TPR).
