SAFE Regeneration is a registered charity aiming to promote urban regeneration in South Sefton. We were established in 2000 as Safe Productions, a creative arts social enterprise working with communities across Merseyside to co-produce public artworks. In 2007 we relocated from Liverpool to the former St Mary's primary school site on Waverley St in Bootle and have spent 8 years investing in the local community, working with local people and organisations to make Bootle better. In 2015 we became a registered charity and rebranded as Safe Regeneration... We are led by a group of local stakeholders including local residents, non-profits and small businesses. Stakeholders meet regularly to discuss ideas and plan for the future. Many stakeholders also volunteer with us, work with us and support us in other ways. Stakeholder membership is open to all local residents and organisations who share an interest in improving our community.
