I am a Senior Acoustic Consultant with Dragonfly Consulting, joining (for the second time) in February 2021.
As part of my Bachelor of Science in Sound Engineer at Birmingham City University, I completed a 12-month internship at Dragonfly Consulting where I gained a working knowledge of Environmental and Building Acoustics. I am now re-joining as an Acoustic Consultant.
Since my internship, I have worked in Occupational Health completing Workplace Noise, Air and Vibration monitoring surveys to assess workplace exposure; as part of my training I have completed modules in the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS).
I am the founder and co-owner of a video gaming organisation and in my spare time I manage this; I also enjoy playing football for a local pub team and running. My dream job was to be a Formula 1 driver.

I am a Director of Dragonfly Consulting and have been with Dragonfly since its inception in 2007. My responsibilities within the company are Legal Services, Human Resources, Business Development and Marketing.
I enjoy working at Dragonfly because I have an amazing team around me that is friendly, hard-working and fun to be with.
I asked my children what they think Mummy does at work, my 8 year old told me "you sort stuff out" whilst my 13 year old said "you do legal work". My spirit animal is the lion because not only are they fierce, they are said to sleep for 20 hours a day! The thing that I am most proud of doing in my life is travelling to India alone, even though it was my first time travelling abroad alone.

I joined Dragonfly Consulting in March 2023 on a temporary part time basis as Credit Controller. I am now a permanent member of the team.
In my last role I worked full time as Company Secretary for 17 years; I'm now enjoying working part time and being able to do some volunteering work alongside.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, walking and tackling some of the Wainwrights in the Lake District. I enjoy gardening and my volunteering role as a garden assistant at one of Yorkshire's finest stately homes is a great way to spend time outdoors.
If I hadn't found my career in finance I would have loved to do anything in the sport world, I enjoy all sports and am a qualified netball umpire.

I've been working in the acoustics industry since 2015 with a predominant focus in the assessment and control of environmental noise and vibration. So far in my career I've been fortunate enough to work on some of the biggest developments in the UK from mining operations to offshore windfarms.
I took the opportunity to join Dragonfly in September 2020 and assist the company as they transition into new markets with greater industry exposure.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, specifically the snow-capped mountains of the Pyrenees, Alps and further afield. If I didn't work in acoustics, I would probably be working in the in the backcountry, the more snow the better!

I am Dragonfly Consulting's Operations Manager, I'm responsible for the day to day administrative tasks within the business. I joined the team in November 2018 after spending many years working in bicycle shops across Yorkshire.
I have recently achieved a BA(Hons) in Business Management through the Open University and also hold a Foundation Degree in Creative Digital Communications.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, exploring outdoors and taking things to bits to see how they work. My childhood dream was to race motorbikes in the Moto GP.
