Dr. Farnesi is the Medical Director of Medical Age Management, Inc. in San Diego, California. He is trained in Advanced Aesthetic Dermatologic Procedures, Medical Dermatology, Family Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine. In 2008 he was voted one of San Diego's Top Doctors by his peers and served as President of the San Diego Academy of Family Physicians. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and has completed the degree of Advanced Fellow in Anti-Aging, Functional, and Regenerative Medicine and holds a title of Diplomate American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Farnesi has a keen interest in physical fitness and nutrition. During college he conducted research into the physiology of obesity and weight loss. He received a B.S. degree in Physiology from the University of California - Davis and received his medical training from the University of California - Irvine, Stanford University, and SHARP Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, CA. He served as Chief Resident in 2001. Dr. Farnesi has been an investigator in clinical trials for new medical treatments since 2001. His extensive experience in the field of medical research allows him to stay tuned to the ever-advancing fields of Anti-Aging Medicine and Aesthetic Dermatology. Using state-of-the-art hormone, nutritional, genetic, neurotransmitter, cytokine, and other specialized testing, physical exam, and extensive interview, Dr. Farnesi will develop your personalized anti-aging and functional medicine program - a multi-disciplined approach that may include natural bio-identical hormone therapy, fitness, and nutrition, as well as natural, integrative and traditional medicines and supplements, diet, vitamins and minerals as needed. Recognized as one of "San Diego's Top Doctors" in 2018 by San Diego Magazine, Dr. Koenig entered medical school at UCSD after taking an interest in exercise physiology and physical therapy. He performed a residency in Emergency Medicine and has been working in the ER since 2005. Throughout his career, he invested his time completing training in Aesthetics and Functional and Metabolic Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging. Dr Koenig is excited to offer patients options to optimize their health, vitality, and longevity while providing services to diminish the physical effects of aging.

At the same time, you can work towards inner peace, balance, and find direction. If you would like support in these areas, we are formally introducing Andrew K. Oldham (Drew), our licensed mental health therapist, who has been working with us for the past five years. He comes highly recommended by Dr. Farnesi and Dr. Koenig and is available for individual counseling and psychotherapy sessions.
