Peter recieved a B.A. in Art & Architectural History and in Political Science with a concentration in Economics from Trinity College where he has since served as a member of the college's Board of Trustees and as the President of its Alumni Association and Chairman of its Executive Committee.
Peter is active in several charitable and philanthropic organizations including the ASPCA, Children International, Peta, The Nantucket Historical Associaiton, and The Spence-Chapin Adoption Agency. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children - the world's oldest child protective services agency.
