Previously, Benoit was an Investment Director at BNP Paribas Private Equity. Prior to BNP Paribas, he worked at PAI Partners for eight years, the leading leverage buyout firm in continental Europe, where he was involved initially in fund structuring and fundraising as well as portfolio monitoring and then participated in a number of leverage buyout transactions across Europe. Benoit started his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen, after serving as a Midshipman, Aide-de-Camp to the Admiral Inspector General of the French Navy. Benoit graduated from HEC (Paris) with a Master in Finance. He sits on the Advisory Board of several European private equity funds.

Previously, Eric was an investment executive at CSFB Private Equity in London, where he worked primarily on pan-European Buyouts investment opportunities. Earlier, he worked in structured finance with BNP Paribas in Sao Paulo, Paris and New York, specializing in leveraged buyouts, infrastructure financing, mezzanine debt and investments in private equity funds. Eric earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BS in finance from Neoma (France). He currently sits on the advisory board of several private equity funds and is a past board member of several private and publicly traded companies as well as not-for-profit organizations.

François Desprez de Fresnoye - Managing Director

Nitin Gupta - CEO

Nitin joined Caspian Private Equity, a predecessor to Flexstone Partners, in 2008. Prior to Caspian, he was a Principal at Westbury Partners, where he was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence and serving on the board of portfolio companies. Prior to Westbury Partners, Nitin was a Senior Associate at Saunders Karp & Megrue, where he was responsible for due diligence, with a particular focus on healthcare and retail investments. Prior to Saunders Karp & Megrue, he was an Associate at McCown De Leeuw & Company, where he was responsible for due diligence and a buy and build strategy across a number of industries including business services, industrial, and manufacturing. Prior to McCown DeLeeuw & Company, Nitin was an analyst in the M&A group at Merrill Lynch & Company where he completed a number of buy-side transactions for certain Fortune 500 companies. Nitin earned his BS at New York University and MBA at Harvard Business School. He serves as a Board member/observer for several portfolio companies of funds managed by Flexstone Partners.

Rudy Chappe

He worked more specifically on financial due diligence acquisitions and valuation assignments for banks, insurance companies as well as asset managers. Previously, Rudy was an analyst for Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, in Structured Finance, then in private equity for Société Générale Capital Partenaires. Rudy holds a Master from ESSEC Management School and Paris-Dauphine University, France. He serves as an Advisory Board member for several European private equity funds.

Sacia Belgacemi

Previously, she occupied several positions in risk management, portfolio research and portfolio management at Natixis, Natixis Asset Management and Natixis Investment Managers between 2005 and 2019. She started her career at Credit Industriel et Commercial in Paris, France. Samira holds a DEA in Probabilities and its application, with a major in Finance ("DEA El Karoui"), from University of Paris VI, France. She is a CFA Charterholder.

Satyan Malhotra

Satyan worked on the firm's day-to-day operations, business development and new product offerings until the end of June 2021. He is a founding Partner of Caspian Private Equity, a predecessor to Flexstone Partners. Prior and concurrent to that, until January 2012, he served as President of Caspian Capital Management ("CCM") that managed as much as $2.2Bn of alternative assets including fixed income portfolios and quantitative trading strategies. CCM also provided non-discretionary consulting on as much as $3Bn in structured products on funds of hedge fund programs. Prior to joining CCM in 2002, Satyan was a Senior Manager with the Global Risk Management Solutions consulting practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In that capacity, he worked with major financial institutions, corporations and treasuries on a variety of risk management, portfolio and strategic initiatives. Satyan holds a CIBE from Columbia Business School, an MBA in Finance from Virginia Tech, a BA in Economics (Honors) from the University of Delhi and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). He served on various company boards and has authored several research pieces on investments.
