Gabrielle is a partner at Thorpe Law. She was born May 12, 1964, in Dunoon, Scotland. She received her primary schooling in San Diego, California and her undergraduate education at UCLA, earning a BA in History, with an emphasis on the French Revolution.
She raced bicycles for the collegiate team at UCLA from 1989 to 1991, representing UCLA at the Nationals for 1989, 1990, and 1991. She raced as a semi-professional for the LA Sheriff's Department from 1990 to 1991.
She relocated to the Bay Area in 1992. She worked in retail and was employed by the GAP, The Nature Company, and The Discovery Channel Store from 1992 to 1995. She worked for Lawrence Thorpe as paralegal from 1995 to 2000, when she decided to go to law school.
Gabrielle graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2000. She was awarded the Witkin Award for Electronic Evidence in 2003.
She joined Thorpe Law as an associate in June 2006. She is experienced in hearings, multi-day trials, conducting direct and cross-examinations, settlement negotiations, marital settlement agreements, and depositions.
She is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association, the Alameda Bar Association, the Queens Bench Bar Association, the Earl Warren Inn of Court, and a martial arts student at Aikido of Berkeley (4 th kyu rank).
Larry is a family law specialist, certified by the California Board of Legal Specialization, with the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell as AV-Preeminent. He has practiced family law exclusively since 1975, and was certified as a specialist at the beginning of the certification program in 1980.
In addition to family law, Larry has had successful trials in San Francisco and Monterey involving damages to real and personal property. He has also litigated securities actions and estate proceedings. Larry has experience across the entire range of family law matters, including prenuptial agreements, child custody, and family law matters involving jurisdictional, bankruptcy, immigration, and tax issues.
Larry was born in Reno, Nevada October 23, 1941, attended Reno High School (winning honors in debating and the state championship in extemporaneous speaking), and then attended Northwestern University where he was on the Inter Fraternity Council and acted as its Student Senate Representative and earned a B.A in Philosophy. He attended Hastings College of Law, was on the Moot Court Board, and graduated with a J.D in 1967. He then attended New York University, and earned an LL.M in Corporation Law.
Larry has been active in local community affairs, and is the past President of the Kensington Improvement Council. He is currently on the board of Directors of the Pacific Chamber Symphony (www.pacificchambersymphony.org).
Trevor is a partner at Thorpe Law, a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, and a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists and the California State Bar's Family Law Section. He practices in all Bay Area counties, is admitted to the US District Court in the Northern District of California, and belongs to the Bar Associations for San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, and San Mateo counties.
Trevor attended high school at North Bay Secondary School, now Orinda Academy, where he was elected senior class and then student body president and voted most likely to succeed by his classmates. He obtained his BA in Philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1991, and his JD from the Golden Gate University School of Law in 1998. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1998 and has been practicing family law exclusively since then.
Trevor has represented and consulted with individuals in all aspects of family law, including appeals and international cases involving jurisdictional, custody, and enforcement issues between California and France, Australia, Sweden, Hong Kong, Ireland, Costa Rica, Mauritius, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe matter involved a successful writ petition and two successful appeals.
A former bike racer, Trevor has multiple California State and National Collegiate Championship medals, including gold medals in the road race, team time trial, and team omnium events. He was the first rider selected for the US Cycling Road Team sent to the World University Games in Barcelona and Majorca in 1990. In 2009, he became a member of the founding board of directors for the National Interscholastic Cycling Association to help bring the benefits of the sport of bicycle racing to middle and high school students across the country.
