Ivar Inc. is a bookkeeping and accounting company based in Edmonton, Alberta. It is owned and operated by Gemma Ramayan, who has over two decades of experience working with profit and non-profit organizations. Gemma has also worked in public practice and as a Canada Revenue Agency auditor... I created Ivar Inc. in 2006 so I could provide accounting and bookkeeping services to a wide variety of profit and non-profit businesses. I have worked with dozens of clients: building and construction, fast food, service and consulting, management companies, mechanical contractors, retail stores, manufacturing, property management, non-profits, charities, and franchisees. My roles have varied from full-cycle accounting, consulting, building and documenting systems and processes, business start-ups, wind-downs, mergers, ownership changes and adjustments, and audit assistance.
