Derek M. Engler

Derek began his career in financial services in 2001 after retiring from the NFL. He is dedicated to assisting families, institutions, and current and former professional athletes by providing real-world insight into comprehensive wealth management. Derek works to create customized financial portfolios that can help preserve wealth and align with the long-term goals of his clients. Derek is a current member of the RBC Wealth Management Fixed Income Advisory Council. Derek earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin and remains an active alumnus. He mentors University of Wisconsin-Madison student athletes through a summer internship program, and he has served as a director of the W Club Board. Derek is currently a director on the NFL Alumni Madison Chapter Caring for Kids Board, and an active supporter of Easter Seals, Gilda's Club and American Family Children's Hospital. Derek resides in Middleton with his wife, Nina, and three children. He enjoys co-hosting a weekly radio show for ESPN Madison, "In the Trenches."

Nina is a wealth management associate who brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry to the practice. She is dedicated to evaluating and improving the efficiency of all facets of the business. Nina focuses on analyzing investment opportunities, executing client investment programs, and helps create and monitor effective portfolios with a client's best interests in mind. Nina grew up in Washington State and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in journalism. She has lived in Madison since 2000, and is a volunteer coordinator at Olbrich Botanical Gardens. Nina is married to Derek and they live in Middleton with their three children.

Todd M. Wiedenfeld - SVP

Todd is a senior vice president with more than 26 years of experience as a financial advisor. His practice emphasizes wealth preservation strategies, and he works with high-net-worth clients as well as institutions, including a number of nonprofit organizations and religious foundations. Todd has mentored college students as interns throughout his career. A Madison native, Todd attended East Side High School and Madison College. He and his wife, Kelly, reside in Waunakee with their three children who are active in swimming and tennis at Maple Bluff Country Club. Todd is an active supporter of Gilda's Club and Northside Youth Sports.
