Our mission is to provide a cohesive and comprehensive approach to leadership development that equips leaders at all levels in the church for fruitful service and effective ministry, in the Midwest and beyond... The Midwest Institute of Ministry has grown with every cohort of students. Once called the Chicago School of Missions, the MIM has grown in its reach and impact with every passing year. We've seen God bless our work and we've seen our graduates go on to serve in the church in amazing ways. 2021 marks a turning point for our work. The MIM remains intimately connected with the Chicago Church of Christ and our Midwest family of churches, but is now an independent nonprofit.
