In 1978 Mr. Mishiev began his career in the Telecommunications sector. A year later he ran an installation of Type E systems using Data General Nova 2 in Rotterdam, Holland for Co Data Company, as a senior technician. He had advanced his career with his position as a Service Manager, for Co Data Company, by 1980. Mr. Mishiev expanded into independent consulting in 1982 while still employed with Co Data Co. As a consultant, he was responsible for build-up, installation and sales of PC systems for small businesses, such as, insurance agencies, car dealerships, travel agencies and physician offices. He continued as a Service Manager for Co Data Co. until 1985. That same year he joined Micrognosis, a trading floor technology service company, as a senior technician. By 1986, he advanced to General Foreman of Installations. This position involved preliminary surveys, installations, configuration planning, manpower planning and coordination with other MDS services for delivery to the trading floor environment via Micrognosis multi-platform switch. Trading floors that he serviced included Goldman Sachs, BONY, JP Morgan, Citibank, Shearson Lehman and Swiss Bank to name a few. By 1990, Mr. Mishiev became a Senior System Design Engineer and was involved with JP Morgan and one of the largest design and installation of VICS System for Citibank. As a result of a major relocation for Citibank Trading Floors from 55 Water Street NYC to 399 Park Ave. NYC, Mr. Mishiev was assigned to the relocation project and became an on site support service manager. This experience helped him to formulate new turnkey innovative solutions for coordination of Moves, Adds and Changes for the trading floor environment. In 1994 he joined forces, as a consultant, with Shamrock Company to provide expertise for planning, coordination & relocation for desktop equipment in all disciplines for Citibank.
