Dan O'Connor

Dan brings over 25 years of Owner Representative experience to the Oakleigh Development team. In his role as SVP of Construction, he is responsible for providing overall leadership to the project team in developing and implementing capital construction projects. He has worked on over 500 projects lifetime, representing a cumulative value of more than $3 billion. With a background in office, medical, retail and industrial space development, Dan's industry experience in asset acquisition, contract negotiation, and management brings an added level of expertise to Oakleigh Development. His work with zoning and easement issues, as well as budget development and tenant finishes, enhance his current project roster.

Dan Thies

Mr.Thies has over eighteen years of experience in the real estate industry. Dan is President of the Thies Group, Inc. where he is responsible for all development activities, acquisitions, entitlement processes, and financing operations. Mr.Thies development work includes: senior living facilities, retail centers, mixed use facilities, and residential development. Mr.Thies was integral in the development of over 10 Stonecrest Senior Living facilities including: The Solana - Ballwin MO, The Grove in Creve Coeur, The Grove in Sunset Hills, Frotenac Grove, Sappington Square - Crestwood, MO, and the Stonecrest at Clayton View In total, Dan has developed over fifteen senior living communities representing over $450 million of development. Mr. Thies is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, Pulaski Bank Advisory Board, Chesterfield Arts Board, and St. Louis County Port Authority Board. Mr. Thies received a BA in History from Central College in 1996 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, in 1999.

David W. Truetzel

David W. Truetzel is a seasoned operating and financial executive with over thirty years of experience in the real estate, financial services and healthcare industries. In 2009, Mr. Truetzel became an investment partner in several build- to- suit (BTS) real estate developments in the southeastern United States where he experienced development from the ground up. Since 2007, he has been a General Partner in Augury Capital Partners, L.P. a growth capital private equity firm focused on the healthcare and financial services industries. To date, he has harvested approximately half the portfolio and will continue to manage the investments in the portfolio until they are successfully liquidated over the next several years. Mr. Truetzel sits on the Board of Directors of Enterprise Bank, Inc, Verifi Inc., Clearent, LLC, Amedica, Inc., and Paranet, LLC. Mr. Truetzel holds a B.S. in Accounting from Saint Louis University, an MBA from The Wharton School and is a certified public accountant.

Scott Sachtleben

Scott Sachtleben identifies and implements Oakleigh Development Group's strategic vision, initiatives, and real estate opportunities. He also oversees all of Oakleigh's operations and partner relations. With Mr. Sachtleben, the Oakleigh Development's organization is dedicated to providing certainty of delivery in quality, cost, and timing for its real estate and capital partners for successful, long-term relationships. Mr. Sachtleben has over thirty-five years of firsthand, day-to-day experience in the real estate industry, ranging from acquisitions, capital structure, entitlements/incentives, development, construction, joint ventures, and leasing. As a developer and principal, he has exceeded several billion dollars in real estate joint ventures, developments, and transactions. Prior to his role with Oakleigh Development Group, Mr. Sachtleben served as Senior Vice President of development for The Desco Group in St. Louis. He was instrumental in launching a national, multi-office platform advancing real estate development in retail, office, and industrial products. Previously, Mr. Sachtleben was a senior partner with the law firm Greensfelder in St. Louis, specializing in a broad practice of real estate development and finance. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with Highest Honors, from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, as well as a Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Sachtleben serves on the Board of Directors of Reliance Bank and is an active member of a variety of civic organizations. He is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, the Urban Land Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

William C Biermann

Mr.Biermann has over 17 years of real estate investment and development experience. Prior to forming the Wm. Biermann Company in 2008, Mr.Biermann worked as a member of an established real estate investment firm located in the St. Louis. Since founding the Wm. Biermann Company, Mr.Biermann has utilized his knowledge of real estate development and legal background to develop a variety of different property types. His developments include: senior living facilities, retail, office, residential lots and apartment buildings. Additionally, the firm provides consulting services to some of the largest real estate development firms and developers in the St. Louis area. Bill is known throughout the industry as a creative thinker and problem solver. Mr.Biermann has been instrumental in the development and construction of several senior living facilities in: Richmond Heights-MO, Wildwood-Missouri, Creve Coeur-Missouri, Town and Country- Missouri, Troy-Michigan, Rochester Hills-Michigan, and Meridian Hills-Indiana, as well as several others. Mr.Biermann received a BA in History, with departmental honors, from Northeast Missouri State University in 1996 (Truman State) and Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri in 1999.
