J. David Stradley, Sr.

David Stradley represents individuals in complex insurance and injury disputes. His practice concentrates on insurance bad faith and catastrophic injury cases. His successes include winning the largest personal injury jury verdict in North Carolina in 2012, in a case arising from the explosion of a food processing plant. Mr. Stradley is a magna cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University (B.A. '91) and earned his law degree (with high honors) from Duke University in 1995. He serves on the Board of Governors and the Legal Affairs Committee of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and on the Insurance Law Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, including its Insurance Section and its Bad Faith Litigation Group. Mr. Stradley frequently speaks on topics related to trial skills and insurance bad faith.

Robert P. Holmes

Robert P. Holmes represents policyholders and other insureds in federal and state court cases involving insurance coverage and insurance claims handling. Many of these cases involve bad faith refusal to settle, bad faith claim handling, and unfair trade practices. Rob is on the Legislative Committee of the Insurance Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, a frequent lecturer on bad faith claim-handling issues, and co-author with J. David Stradley of the chapter entitled Insurance Bad Faith Considerations for the Lawyer Handling Personal Injury Claims in North Carolina found in Personal Injury Practice in North Carolina, LexisNexis (2d ed. 2013). Rob, a native of New Bern, North Carolina, graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1981 and a J.D. in 1984.
