While several jurisdictions have adopted specific regulation on credit rating agencies, there are numerous differences in terms of registration/recognition as CRA or ECAIs as well as in terms of disclosures by CRAs and supervisors. In our section "regulatory use" we provide guidance to users for several countries... In order to contribute to enhanced transparency in the rating market, we are now referencing all Credit Rating Agencies registered or certified in the European Union. In addition, you shall find information on selected agencies beyond the European Union as well as information on two Export Credit Agencies. Over time, we shall extend our research and coverage in order to give guidance on a global basis.
