Remcore allows patients on home oxygen therapy to be more comfortable and more active with ActiFlo™, a patented wireless remote control flow management and monitoring system. The ActiFlo system is safer, more accurate, and patients at home can be more mobile than with conventional oxygen systems... Doctors often prescribe different levels of oxygen to patients on home oxygen for different levels of activity, but patients typically leave the flow rate unchanged all the time. This is because up to now there has been no convenient way to adjust the flow rate when going from resting to exertion. Patients may be receiving the oxygen from a tank up to 50ft away.
