Dr. Downs earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where he graduated with honors. He feels privileged to have provided eye care to the Wisconsin Rapids community since 1979. He enjoys caring for his patients the best possible and strives always to give his patients the best possible vision - with glasses and contact lenses as well as by managing medical eye conditions.
A member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, Dr. Downs is continuously learning in order to provide his patients with the most current techniques and the latest technology available for eye care.
