Meijburg & Co is a professional partnership focusing on tax advice by tax advisors. Meijburg & Co was incorporated in 1939 by Willem Meijburg, at that time a tax inspector with the Dutch tax authorities, and was one of the first tax advisory firms in the Netherlands. The idea to set up a tax advisory firm was partly at the instigation of Pieter Klijnveld, one of the co-founders of Klynveld Kraayenhof & Co Accountants (a predecessor of today's KPMG). The resolve, entrepreneurship and perseverance of Meijburg and Klijnveld still continue to characterize the services of Meijburg & Co... Meijburg has two independent partnerships: Meijburg & Co and Meijburg Legal. Meijburg & Co focuses on tax advice by tax advisors and Meijburg Legal focuses on legal advice by lawyers and civil-law notaries...
