TASWE (Tanzania Saccos for Women Entrepreneurs) is an independent financial institution providing deposits and credit facilities to its members. In addition TASWE SACCOS aims to provide technical advice on house construction and renovation and various economic activities to its members…... TASWE SACCOS was established in 2013 after revealing that women entrepreneurs were facing challenges over high loan interests that they were charged from Banks and other Financial Institutions and other drawbacks like lack of collateral which overwhelms them to access the loan to start and expand their businesses... The Association was officially launched on 10th November, 2014 with 100 members and now we have more than 680 members. We have experience on how people suffer due to lack of capital for starting their businesses. Another goal is to motivate Tanzanian business women to put their savings in TASWE SACCOS to solve challenges that they face by getting loans at low interest rate.
