After 5 years as CRO/COO of a large IT Equipment Refurbishing Company, Connor decided he wanted to chase his passion in Golf & Construction. Owning a Hole in One Insurance & Event Business in the space for 7 Years as well, he was shopping for a "fake" green for a contest. Somehow he ended up on the phone with Matt Morman, "Have you ever thought about Installing Synthetic Turf Greens?" Matt Morman said to Connor. 90 Days later, Connor was Matt's Michigan Dealer & 24 Months later they both quit their day jobs & were business partners, in what is now Epic Turf Group. Connor played NAIA Golf at Holy Cross in South Bend Indiana, and manages all business operations & sales for MI, IN, & South FL.
A graduate from Mississippi State University and after 10 years as a club professional at Scioto Country Club (Ohio), Shooting Star (Jackson Hole, Wyoming), & The Jim McLean Golf School, Matt jumped fully into the Synthetic Turf Business in 2013. He served as the VP of Operations & Business Development for The Recreational Group and created and built out the initial Tour Greens Dealer program throughout the US. Matt has played a part in 500+ Synthetic Turf projects and counting, and is truly one of the industry pioneers when you talk about Golf & Turf. Matt oversees and manages all business operations & sales for OH, PA, & North FL.
