VARNA PAŠA

The website Varna paša was designed within the framework of the LIFE DINALP BEAR project (LIFE13 NAT/SI/000550). The overarching goal of the LIFE DINALP BEAR project is to encourage population level management and conservation of brown bears at the transboundary level in Europe... At the Slovenian Forest Service we are actively engaged in the prevention of the damage, cause by large carnivore species... In the period 2015-2018, the LIFE DINALP BEAR project group from SFS, distributed 55 sets of high electric fences and multi wire electric fences for the prevention of the damages, caused by brown bears.
