Terrible news was heard around the world on Thursday February 24, 2022; Russia mounted a large scale military attack on the Ukraine, its southwest neighbour. This is a dramatic escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that began in 2014. Since World War II there has not been such a massive conflict on European soil... It grieves me deeply and my heart, soul and prayers go out to the Ukrainian people. We in Canada need to stand up and be counted with decrying loudly this horrendous act of aggression against Ukraine by Russia. We also need to do everything in our power to help the Ukrainian people in this their great time of need.
