WOODS SOCCER CLUB

Woods Soccer Club is a member of the Clovis Crossfire Youth Recreational League. We offer a recreational program for U6-U13 boys and girls. Joining Woods soccer is a fantastic way to get to connected with other Woods families and gives your son or daughter the opportunity to build relationships with his/her classmates while taking part in a healthy activity. Playing youth soccer allows children to work on transferable skills that benefit them in other sports as well!... We are required by our league to evaluate players for team formation in the U10 and U13 age groups. We do this by hosting player evaluations (try-outs) the first or second week of school each fall. During evaluations, club representatives will use a combination of qualitative and quantitative tools to assess athletes. It's not a perfect process, but it's the best method we've seen. During evaluations, several hundred athletes are evaluated over a few hours.
