Amy joined Sperrin Law as a paralegal after graduating from Durham University and is working towards her SQE examinations to qualify as a solicitor.
Detailed, analytical and inquisitive, Amy provides excellent assistance in the preparation and organisation of criminal cases. She assists on the litigation process from start to finish, whilst providing excellent service to clients in an approachable and empathetic manor. She is thorough and observant and always strives to provide an excellent service.
She is interested in all aspects of criminal and civil law but specialises in extradition cases.
Pip was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997 but started her legal career as a managing clerk in 1983. She has specialised in criminal defence work throughout her career.
She first joined Offenbach Solicitors as a clerk, later moving on to Lee Barnet Needleman. She left in 1995 to return to studying and qualify as a solicitor. Having completed her training contact at Hornby Ackroyd & Levy she moved to take up her first post as an assistant

Ruby joined Sperrin Law as a paralegal, after working for several years as a caseworker and legal assistant in France, Greece and the UK. During this time she worked on initial asylum claims and appeals and related strategic litigation, including making successful interim measures applications to the European Court of Human Rights, and represented clients at Employment Tribunal.
She graduated with Distinction in the GDL at Manchester Metropolitan University, after completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. She speaks fluent Spanish, and conversational French.
She assists in the crime department, with a particular interest in protest law. She is a member of Legal Sector Workers United.

Shola joined Sperrin Law in 2022 as our legal administrator and is currently undertaking a gap year. She hopes to start her degree in September 2023.
She has a keen eye for detail and works to make sure all our clients receive the best care possible.
She works mostly within our police station department ensuring the smooth running of the various elements to this challenging department.
She has always had a keen interest in criminal law with her first interest in crime being piqued by the BBC drama Sherlock. In her spare time she reads, watches documentaries and crime dramas.
Stephanie joined this firm in 2019 and is working towards completing her SQE to become a qualified solicitor. She has over 4 years of experience in criminal defence with some additional experience in civil law working as a paralegal and now as a senior caseworker.
Stephanie successfully assists in representing clients from the police station up to the Crown Court and is well equipped to deal with young and vulnerable defendants. She uses her empathetic nature yet robust approach in proceedings to ensure that the best possible outcome is secured.
Stephanie delivers high quality service to clients by taking the time to ensure that they understand their case and providing them with strategic advice. She has consistently received outstanding feedback from clients and legal professionals for her approachability, tenacity, and proficiency.

Zachary is a consultant solicitor and Higher Court Advocate within the firm. He specialises in the defence of all aspects of criminal law and the related civil proceedings.
He trained at a leading law firm and has worked on heavy fraud cases, serious drug matters with international elements and all manner of other general crime matters. He regularly advises clients in police interview and has a wealth of experience in making representations to the CPS and other prosecuting authorities that no further action should be taken against his clients.
Zachary is deeply passionate about representing protesters and trade unionists. He highly values client care and seeks to take a tailored approach to every case. He has also dealt with criminal appeals, employment law issues, professional regulatory cases, dispute resolution, TFL private hire driving issues and actions against the police.
He is a founder of Legal Sector Workers United (trade union branch for legal workers) and currently sits on the committees for:
Black Protest Legal Support, an organisation that works to provide legal support to protesters who are being persecuted by the state.
London Criminal Courts Solicitors Association, an association that represents the criminal solicitors in London.
Unite, legal sector branch, a trade union branch association that represents legal workers in the UK.
Zachary secured a First in his undergraduate and LPC and has completed a Masters at UCL specialising in Public Law.
