Corey Mineo

Corey is a long time Roaring Fork Valley local who loves pushing the limits of his abilities. He holds a degree in psychology and is a graduate of the Roaring Fork Leadership Center. Corey enjoys being part of our vibrant and tight-knit community and is passionate about accessibility and inclusion.

Danielle Coulter

Hi, my name is Danielle Coulter and I have Cerebral Palsy. I live in the beautiful place of Snowmass Village, Colorado. I do have challenges everyday but it doesn't stop me from living my dreams. I love to horseback ride and I'm the first adaptive snowboarder in the world! Now not many of people can say that, can they?

Jill Pidcock

Jill Pidcock is the Executive Director of the Arc of the Central Mountains. Jill serves on several Board of Directors and Committees to further her efforts to increase awareness and put plans and services into action through such organizations as; Colorado Collaboration for Autism and other Neurological Disability Options (CO-CANDO), Family Supports and Services Program for the local Community Centered Board, the Early Dispute Resolution Advisory Board and a facilitator for Parents Encouraging Parents (PEP) both programs are managed by the Colorado Department of Education. Jill is a wife and mother of 2 sons, the oldest of which was identified with autism at the age of 2 yrs. Along with her husband, they work tirelessly to create a community friendly lifestyle that is accessible, accommodating and accepting of their son. When she's not advocating, you can find Reverend Jill officiating weddings throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.

Kara Brouhard

I was born and raised in Glenwood Springs. I live in my own house and it is a "Smart Home." I use apps on my iPad to help guide me through my day, and I control a lot of my lights with my voice and Alexa! Alexa helps me be more independent too because I can ask Alexa all kinds of questions to learn about what is interesting to me. I feel like I am brave and strong and I like to do things to help others. I like to go and talk to people about how technology can help them be more independent!

Katie Grange

Katie's compassion and competitive nature are a potent combination. She's fostered dialogue and created networks among the local disability communities, and expanded those connections nationally and globally. She currently serves on the board for Ascendigo Autism Services, located here in the Roaring Fork Valley, serving youth and adults across the autism spectrum through experiential community based learning opportunities. She is also a past board member of Challenge Aspen, a local organization dedicated to impacting lives with meaningful experiences to individuals with cognitive or physical challenges. She served at the governor's appointment on the State Council for Developmental Disabilities. Katie also assists people with disabilities to find local housing.

Liz Bell

Liz has dedicated the majority of her career to non-profit organizations, while also also working to maximize the potential for her three children - researching, networking and advocating, especially for her son with autism epilepsy and other health conditions. She lives in Basalt, Colorado with her husband Peter and, off and on, their three grown children.

Maribel Obreque

Maribel manages systems within the office and coordinates many of our social media platforms. Maribel also assist Jill with translation and interpretation and has quickly become a client navigator helping families better understand Special Education and identify resources within the community. Currently, she is in school studying business with an emphasis in non-profit management. Maribel lives in Glenwood Springs with her husband and two children, both of whom are on the autism spectrum. When she and her husband aren't advocating for their children, you can find her up and down adventuring and exploring all the Roaring Fork Valley has to offer or compulsively crafting.

Sara Sims

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Sara moved to Colorado in 1994. She worked for a short time with adolescents in a residential treatment facility, and then joined the family at Mountain Valley Developmental Services, as an adult case manager in 1996. Sara became the Executive Director in July of 2018, a position she currently holds. Sara enjoys getting to know families whom the agency serves and does an amazing job of gently walking them through their daily celebrations and struggles.
