Aspro, Inc. was founded in July 1973 with the purchase of an asphalt plant and a sand and gravel deposit from Waterloo Dredging Company. In its first five years of operation, Aspro, Inc. was strictly a producer of asphalt, sand and gravel. In 1978, asphalt paving construction crews were added which accelerated growth even more. Today, Aspro operates two asphalt plants in the Waterloo area and offers asphalt paving, general road and street construction as well as commercial parking lot construction in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area and the surrounding counties... Aspro, Inc. is an asphalt paving contractor. In addition to paving we also manufacture and sell asphalt, rock and sand products to the general public, local contractors, city, county and state entities... Aspro, Inc. offers full time seasonal employment for a variety of positions including general laborer, truck drivers, heavy equipment mechanic and equipment operators.
