Alex Christ

Alex Christ is a Partner of Advance Venture Partners. Alex led or sourced AVP's investments in Affinity, DemandStar, and Tegus. He is also involved with the firm's investments in Above Average, Alto, Headspace Health, Morning Consult, Openly, and PebblePost. Prior to joining AVP in July 2015, Alex was an early member of the growth equity investing team at ICONIQ Capital, where he focused on investments in enterprise software, financial technology, and consumer e‑commerce verticals. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in the firm's Global Technology Group in Menlo Park, where he executed mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, and private placements. Alex received his BBA with a double major in Accounting and Finance from the University of Iowa.

Ameen Dalli

Ameen Dalli is an Associate of Advance Venture Partners. Prior to joining AVP in 2022, Mr. Dalli was an Analyst in BlackRock's private equity group, where he focused on investments in technology, media, and consumer businesses. At BlackRock, he helped invest in and monitor companies including Rivian and Fenway Sports Group. Mr. Dalli received a BS in Commerce and a BA in Economics from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Courtney Robinson

Courtney Robinson joined Advance Venture Partners at its inception in November 2014 and focuses on investing in growth-stage technology companies. Courtney led AVP's investments in Bellhop, Curology, Clippings (acq by Material Bank), Ergatta, Fi, Openly, Parsley Health, Rent the Runway (Nasdaq:RENT), and Sawyer. She is also involved in the firm's investments in Farfetch (Nasdaq:FTCH) and Vestiaire. Courtney was previously a Principal at American Express Ventures, a strategic investment group focused on financial technologies, where she worked with companies such as Bill​.com, Enigma, and Learnvest. Courtney began her profes sional career at GCA Savvian in technology, media, and telecom investment banking in San Francisco. Following GCA, Courtney ran business development at Plum District, a local commerce startup.

Gina Sanders

Gina Sanders is a Venture Partner of Advance Venture Partners and also serves as a Managing Partner of Advance Publications Inc. and as an Advisor to both Condé Nast and Y Combinator, the world-renowned, Silicon Valley-based, business accelerator. From 2010 - 2014, Ms. Sanders was President and Chief Executive Officer of Fairchild Fashion Media, a diversified trade and consumer media company. She led the company to high double-digit, bottom-line growth prior to its sale to Penske Media Corporation. A 29-year veteran of Condé Nast, Ms. Sanders previously served as Vice President and Publisher of Lucky, as the founding Vice President and Publisher of Teen Vogue, and as Vice President and Publisher of Gourmet and Details. She received numerous accolades during her tenure in these posts, including multiple placements on AdWeek's Hot List and AdAge's A‑List, Condé Nast's ​‘Publisher of the Year' award, as well as the prestigious Matrix Award from New York Women in Communications. Ms. Sanders serves on the Board of Directors of Katherine Cosmetics and serves as an observer to the Board of Directors of AVP portfolio company Joor. She also serves as an advisor to several nonprofit organi zations, including New Story, a Y Combinator-backed, nonprofit startup building crowdfunded houses in areas of need around the world.

Mukund Subramanian

Mukund Subramanian is a Senior Associate of Advance Venture Partners. Prior to joining AVP in 2023, Mukund was a Senior Associate in Veritas Capital's debt and non-control equity group, where he focused on investments in enterprise software, healthcare technology, education technology, aerospace and defense, and government services businesses. Mukund began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Financing Advisory and Restructuring groups at both Greenhill and Miller Buckfire, where he structured and executed restruc turing, financing, and distressed M&A transactions for businesses across a variety of industries. Mukund received a BS in Operations Research from the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University.

Nomi Bergman

Nomi Bergman is a Venture Partner of Advance Venture Partners and also provides strategic guidance to Advance companies for new growth opportu nities, acquisitions, and investments in new business initiatives. Mrs. Bergman served as President of Bright House Networks until its 2016 merger with Charter Communi cations and Time Warner Cable. Bright House Networks, was the sixth-largest owner and operator of cable systems in the U.S., with systems located in five states, including Florida, Alabama, Indiana, Michigan, and California. She is committed to providing guidance and leadership to the cable and telecom mu ni cations industry, serving on the Federal Communi cations Commission (FCC) Techno logical Advisory Council. Mrs. Bergman serves as a trustee of her alma mater, the University of Rochester, and is a member of their Institute for Data Science Advisory Committee and Engineering's Dean's Advisory Council. She has received numerous awards and honors, including induction into the Cable Hall of Fame, the Women In Technology Award, the Multichannel News Wonder Women Award, and CED's Person of the Year. Mrs. Bergman is also the recipient of the Distin guished Vanguard Award for Leadership, Cablefax's Lifetime Achievement Award, named Women in Cable Telecom mu ni cations (WICT) Woman of the Year, and a Women in Solutions Honoree by the Alliance for Women in Media. Mrs. Bergman is a member of the Boards of Directors of publicly held Comcast Corporation (NYSE: CMCSA), Visteon (NYSE: VC), privately held Black & Veatch, Hawkeye 360 and Advance Publications owned 1010 Data. She is also a member of the Boards of Directors of several non-profits, including The Cable Center, One Revolution, and Adaptive Spirit, a cable industry fundraising organi zation for the U.S. Paralympic Ski and Snowboard Team. Nomi is a proud wife and mother to three wonderful daughters.
