We are very grateful to the individuals, families, carers, businesses, organisations, professionals and volunteers who have helped us get us going in all sorts of ways, with generous financial help, advice and support. This really has been a team effort!... How we started, our aims, funders, plans for the future and our work with other beach wheelchair projects... Free beach wheelchair hiring service run by volunteers at Balmedie Beach in the Balmedie Country Park about 10 miles north of Aberdeen. We have a variety of beach wheelchairs which can be hired by anyone, adults, familes with children, with impaired mobility or any other disability. We are run through the Belhelvie Community Trust, BCT.
