Alex Block joined Block & Company in 2013 as commercial Sales Associate. His focus is specializing in the sale and leasing of retail and restaurant properties together with landlord and tenant representation. Although Alex's focus is in Brokerage he also works as a valuable member to the Operations and Marketing departments.
Prior to joining Block & Company Alex worked for a year as a graphic designer while he studied for his Colorado Real Estate License in Denver, Colorado. Growing up around the offices of Block & Company, Alex has held many different jobs around the company. He is a current member of the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors, International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Retail Brokers Network.
Alex is a graduate of Regis University where he earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design. He also received an interdivisional degree in Sociology, and Business.

Bill Maas, CCIM joined Block & Company in 2010. Maas entered the Commercial Real Estate Industry through the encouragement of William Glasgow and David Block whom Maas had known for years. Prior to Joining Block & Company, Inc. He spent 10 years in the NFL playing for the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers. Maas made First Team All Pro twice and was the NFL Defensive Rookie Of The Year. During his playing days Maas was a popular Radio and TV personality which carried over after playing as he went on to broadcast Nationally for 12 years with FOX Sports.
Through those years Maas accumulated his own portfolio of properties. Which included rental houses, Industrial/warehouse facilities, storage units, and small retail strips. The transition into RE was a natural. His leadership skills carried over from the football field to the office . Maas was awarded his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in October 2015, which recognizes experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.
He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Kansas City Regional Area Realtors, Retail Brokers Network. He works closely with Eastern Jackson County Economic Development and the Missouri cities of Lee's Summit, Independence, Raytown, and Kansas City. Bill holds a real estate license in both Kansas and Missouri. He is an active member of the Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors who promote goodwill through the Kansas City area working in conjunction with the Kansas City Chiefs. They serve many charitable organizations, and work directly with Big Brothers Big Sister of Kansas City, The University Of Kansas Hospital, Camp Quality of Kansas City, Kids TLC, and many other local programs. Maas holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh where he was a two time All American Defensive End for the Panthers and Academic All American.

Daniel Brocato joined Block & Company, Inc., Realtors in June 2013 as a Property Manager. In addition to Property Management, Daniel picked up a second role working as Acquisition Manager where he would oversee the acquisition of new properties to add to the Block & Company Portfolio directly for David Block. This job included initial interior and exterior review of the building, procurement of bids to fix issues related to the building, gathering due diligence items, reviewing rent rolls for accuracy, picking apart P&L statements to see where the new ownership group could cut costs and gain income, lease review, proforma calculations, and transfer of properties into the Management Department.
Beginning in January of 2017, Daniel joined the Block & Company Sales team. With Daniel's previous knowledge of the acquisition side of Commercial Real Estate he has focused his efforts on Retail and Office Investments. He works not only with Buyer and Sellers but has had extensive work in Tenant Representation. Daniel has worked with both local and national brands in procuring new locations in the Kansas City Market.
In 2020, Daniel joined the KCRAR Commercial Board to help grow and strengthen the organization and membership. Daniel was appointed President of the Commercial Board on 2021 and is currently the sitting President. Daniel is also a member of the KCRAR Board of Directors.
Daniel was promoted to Vice President at Block & Company in 2022 and helps to train and recruit new members of the Block & Company Sales Team. Daniel has consistently been one of the top producers at Block and Company and enjoys teaching others to successfully navigate the world of Commercial Real Estate.
Daniel is a graduate of the University of Kansas and an avid sports fan. When he is not in the office, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Darren Siegel works as a retail specialist for Block & Company. He began his career as a leasing and sales agent at Terra Realty in 1997 which eventually lead him to personally purchase, rehab, and sell commercial property on his own.
Since joining the Block & Company, Darren has been actively involved in retail sales, leasing, and investments as well as owner and tenent representation. Darren has represented many owners and developers on numerous shopping centers in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area including: Ward Parkway Plaza, Country Hill Shopping Center, Glenwood Plaza, Sunrise Farms Development, Broadway Plaza Shopping Center, Sherrydale Shopping Center, Mission West Shopping Center, Chouteau Crossing Shopping Center, and many others.
Darren is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Retail Brokers Network, and is involved in various other real estate organizations. He enjoys volunteering for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Emile Rosebud Diabetes Research Foundation, and others.
As a Westminster College graduate and alumni of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, Darren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. During his college years he served in the US Marine Corps and was deployed over seas to serve in the Gulf region.
Darren has two children, Ian and Hailey. He devotes his spare time to volunteering at and enjoying their school events and activities. Spending time with friends and family, especially outdoors, is high on Darren's list of priorities.

Greg J. Roberts joined Block & Company, Inc., Realtors in 2012 as a leasing and sales agent. With a real estate career that began in 2005, Greg has been involved in all facets of the commercial and residential real estate business. While at Block & Company, Greg has primarily focused on retail, restaurant, landlord representation, as well as tenant representation.
Prior to joining Block & Company, Greg served eight years as a residential agent & commercial agent and developer with Reece & Nichols and Quinn Real Estate. Greg has been licensed in both Kansas and Missouri since 2005 and is a current member of the National Association of Realtors, Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors, and Retail Brokers Network.

Madison Jones joined Block & Company Inc., Realtors in June of 2018 as the Construction and Development Administrator. During this time, she assisted with the due diligence for acquisitions of new properties and TIF/CID submissions. Madison also took on additional responsibilities and began assisting the Property Management Department as part of her duties.
In October 2021, Madison was promoted to the Block & Company Property Management Department as a Property Manager. Madison manages a large portfolio of shopping center and retail sites in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area for Block & Company. She is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Kansas and Missouri.
In April of 2023, Madison became a member of CREW KC. CREW KC is a non-profit organization of commercial real estate professionals affiliated globally through membership in the CREW network, providing opportunities for networking, education, leadership development and civic/philanthropic involvement.
Madison is a graduate of Missouri State University and played softball while attending for 5 years. When she is not in the office, Madison enjoys spending time with family, going to Chiefs/Royals games, traveling and golfing.

Max Kosoglad is a fourth-generation commercial real estate agent who grew up in Highland Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, and studied Business & Finance.
Max has worked at Block & Company, Inc., Realtors for over ten years in landlord/tenant representation, buyer/seller representation, new development, investment sales and 1031 exchanges. While specializing in the Hospitality and Retail niches of commercial real estate representing some of the worlds largest hotel brands such as Marriott International, Hilton Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, and Choice Hotels, Max has been involved in the sales of hotel development ground, existing hotels, and buildings for adaptive reuse and conversion projects.
Max's expertise in the restaurant & retail industry is as equally impressive as his success in the hospitality sector. One example is the crucial roles Max played in selling, leasing and consulting for the developer of Corbin Park, one of Kansas City's premiere shopping centers. Since Corbin Park's conception, Max has successfully negotiated sale/lease deals with major brands such as Maggiano's Little Italy, 810 Zone Bar & Grill, Firebirds Woodfired Grill, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Qdoba, Zoe's Kitchen, Ya Ya's Euro Bistro, Lark Burger, Corner Bakery, Hal Smith Restaurant Group and Brew Top Pub & Patio within the center.
A longtime member of ICSC and KCRAR, Max's success during the past ten years has garnered the attention of the business community. Mitch DiCarlo joined Block & Company in April 2015 as the Development Coordinator. Mitch DiCarlo is a Lifelong Kansas City resident whose career has spanned nearly 30 Years in the construction industry.
Past experience includes many landmark retail, commercial, industrial/power and institutional projects throughout the central United States while with DiCarlo Construction Company. Additionally, he spent several years with Peter Kiewit & Son's Construction Company, one of the largest engineering and construction companies in the United States with operations throughout North America and Australia. Mitch has also been actively involved real estate development as both an owner/developer and investor.
As Development Coordinator, Mitch will assist in the development of assigned new projects where responsibilities include Planning, Design, Zoning, Entitlements, and Construction Oversight. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Missouri and Kansas and will participate in Real Estate Development, Leasing and Sales for Block & Company, Inc., Realtors
Mitch is married to Jennifer (Peakes) DiCarlo and together they have four children - Andrew, Max (Block & Co.) and twins Audrey and Paige.
Phil Peck, CCIM joined Block & Company in July 2010 as a commercial sales associate. His focus is specializing in the sale and leasing of retail and restaurant properties together with landlord and tenant representation.
Prior to joining Block & Company, Phil served seven years as an owner and operator of a top national franchise restaurant concept. He has held a real estate license in both Kansas and Missouri since 2006 and has been involved in millions of dollars in commercial transactions including leasing, investments, and developments. Phil was presented with the CoStar Power Broker Award for Top Retail Leasing Volumes in Kansas City in 2013. He was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, which recognizes experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.
Phil is a graduate of Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing with an emphasis in Finance. Shari Travis joined Block & Company in 2006 as a sales associate specializing in the sale and leasing of retail/development properties. Shari also works in exclusive tenant representation with local and national clients.
Prior to joining Block & Company, Shari was a sales associate for Glasgow & Company Real Estate. Her responsibilities included research of retail development and investment properties.

Steven E. Caffey is Chief Executive Officer of Block & Company, Inc., Realtors. As head of Block Asset Management, the property management division of Block & Company, Steve oversees the management activities of commercial properties in excess of 18 million square feet.
Since joining the firm in 1975, Steve has been instrumental in the growth of the property management portfolio. His experience includes representation of major landlords, tenants and developers on the broad range of projects including leasing, marketing, brokerage, management, joint venture, and equity participation.
Steve is Director of the Commercial Property Association of Kansas (CPAK) and the Old Westport Improvement Association. He is a member of the Kansas City (Missouri) and Overland Park (Kansas) Chambers of Commerce. As a former Director of The Southtown Council, a local community neighborhood group, Steve is an active participant in several community projects. He is also a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, Building Owners and Managers Association, and International Council of Shopping Centers.
Steve is a 1968 graduate of Ruskin High School and attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He resides in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
