Amanda Ku has been in real estate industry since 2011. Over the years, she has a wide breadth of experience working with local and international Commercial Real Estate companies including Cushman and Wakefield, Colliers International, Ronmor Developments, and Artis REIT.
Amanda joined the residential real estate industry of Calgary in 2016. As a dedicated residential real estate agent, she focused on first-time home buyers, condominiums, inner city infills, and income generating property investments in Calgary, Airdrie, and Chestermere.
After gaining her experience, she has co-founded Independent Women Real Estate Group driven by her desire to help the local Calgarians and make a difference in their lives. Social causes have a special place in Amanda's heart as she has spent years working for the Alberta Children's hospital Foundation.
Amanda is passionate about helping others and is a strong advocate in the local community. She actively volunteers and gives back her time to Children's Charities, and female-cause associations. Currently, she is volunteering her time at her local women's business association providing her marketing, design and social media experience at CBWN (Connected Business Women's Network), ILEA (International Live Events Association), and TEDxYYC. Amanda also held the position of a Vice-President and Chairperson and was in charge of the Media Awareness & Communications for the Sunshine Foundation of Canada, a Canadian national charity that makes dreams come true for 7,000 kids across Canada with severe physical disabilities (such as spinal bifida or cerebral palsy) as well as life-threatening illnesses. She is also part of the Real Estate Investment Network, an association collaborating and sharing knowledge about how to effectively invest in real estate.
Amanda was the former CEO and Owner/Operator of a successful Brand Activation and Entertainment company, Pose & Pucker Photobooth, organically growing the company since inception to TOP 3 Calgary's Photobooth companies.
In her spare time, Amanda is an avid Ski and Yoga Enthusiast with a special interest in health and well-being, fitness, and eating well. She also enjoys to travel - exploring new cultures and experiences.

Her roles at these companies included marketing, lease administration, office management and operations/property management. After gaining her experience, she has co-founded Calgary Senior Lifestyle Living with Anastasia Dvorak and IW Calgary Real Estate driven by her desire to help the local Calgarians and make a difference in the local community. Social causes have a special place in Amanda's heart as she has spent years working for the Alberta Children's hospital Foundation. Amanda recently volunteered and has spent time sharing her marketing and social media knowledge with Calgary's TED Talks - TEDxYYC, CBWN (Connected Business Women's Network), and ILEA (International Live Events Association).
Our real estate company was co-founded by Anastasia Dvorak, an experienced marketing manager, SEO/Social Media Marketer (Google Certified) and entrepreneur who owned a successful web/print design agency in Calgary, Alberta and was a partner in Red 1's Kitchen Restaurant in Calgary Downtown. Anastasia has been working in the real estate industry since 2011. She has initially focused on the commercial real estate at Cushman & Wakefield. Now, she specializes in Seniors' residential, condominium, luxury, commercial and investment real estate. Anastasia is a Trusted CIBC Bank Realtor, and you can often see her at Aspen Landing SW or Crowfoot NW Calgary Branches with her real estate booth greeting clients and providing more information about her services. She has invested a lot of time into getting the best, most up-to-date relevant education that will help her bring more value to her clients.
She has five (6) real estate designations (Realtor®, Seller Representative Specialist SRS®, Certified Condominium Specialist CCS®, Seniors Real Estate Specialist SRES®, Certified Negotiation Expert CNE®, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist CLHMS®) and has completed Harvard University Post-Graduate Professional Certificate in Marketing Management, which allows Anastasia to provide an even better targeted marketing service for her clients and their properties. Anastasia has over 10 years of experience in marketing, advertising, branding, graphic design, and creative, strategic design (web/print/graphic). She has a degree from the University of Calgary, majoring in International Business. She has also completed her Publishing & Graphic Design and Web Development/Programming certificates at Mount Royal University. Anastasia is married and has a son and two cats.
