Andrew Green

As founding Partner of Broad Reach Growth in San Francisco, Andrew works with post-Series A and B companies that are experiencing the growing pains that often come with rapid growth. His expertise has guided DeepLook at numerous strategic junctures. Previously, Andrew was a Senior Partner with the management consulting firm, Kearney, where he counseled Fortune 100 executives and led the firm's North American Strategy & Organization practice. A Harvard Business School MBA, Andrew has also held executive operating positions. As Interim-CEO of Horizon Propane, a $40M propane distribution company, he led the company through a successful turnaround during a Chapter 11 reorganization, concluding with a sale to a strategic buyer. As President and Publisher of TechCom, Inc., Andrew led the firm's successful revenue growth and margin improvement efforts and, ultimately, the profitable sale of the company to a strategic buyer.

Brian Kim

Brian Kim is President of the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education in Fort Smith, AR - and a key DeepLook advisor on medical education and academic clinical research. Before his current position, he was Associate General Counsel for the American Osteopathic Assn., representing 145,000 osteopathic medical doctors and students - and secretary to the accrediting agency for all osteopathic medical schools nationally. A native of Seoul, Kim was the first Asian American judge appointed to the District Court of Maryland for Montgomery County and also worked for the Attorney General of Maryland.

Dr. Charles Wilhelm

Dr. Charles Wilhelm has more than 45 years of success across the healthcare industry, with particular expertise in managed care. In addition to 15 years as a practicing physician, he has held leadership positions with Principal Financial Groups, Health System One, Physician Corporation of America, Av-Med Health Plans, Ameriplan, and the U.S. Department of Justice. His expertise includes physician management and networking, healthcare financing and reform, quality assurance, and information technology. Chuck is based in Miami.

Dr. Ty Vachon

Dr. Ty Vachon is a practicing radiologist, leading voice in medical informatics, and DeepLook's chief medical advisor. As an active duty Naval Officer for 16 years, he was trained as a Flight Surgeon and served with the Marine Corps for 2 years, deploying 7 months in the Persian Gulf. His final duty was Radiology Department Head at the Naval Hospital in Okinawa for two years. Now out of the Navy and living in San Diego, he consults with small and large companies assisting with technology integration in healthcare. He was recognized by the AMA as an innovator and he has served as an expert panelist on artificial intelligence. His recent book is A Radiologist's Introduction to AI and Machine Learning.

Frank Baker

Frank is a seasoned independent management consultant who assists small and start-up high-tech companies with strategic and tactical guidance to develop sales, manage accounts and increase market penetration. Frank is a hands-on sales management professional with 40 years of experience with leading-edge high technology products and imaging systems. Over the course of his career, Frank has had significant success developing major accounts and managing both direct and indirect technical sales organizations with an emphasis on medical imaging. Frank was instrumental in developing the global OEM market for VolumePro, the ground-breaking 3D rendering computer developed by Mitsubishi and acquired by TeraRecon. Frank also spent time on the executive teams of Medical Connections (DICOM tool kits), eRAD and RamSoft (PACS), and CoActiv Medical, an early provider of vendor-neutral archiving of medical images (VNA). Frank is no stranger to enterprise and workflow solutions and has experience configuring and utilizing high-speed backbone and campus networks. Frank holds a bachelor's degree in life sciences and served as a medical lab technician and a medevac specialist in the Air Force.

Greg Belanger - President

Greg develops DeepLook's strategic vision and leads its business development outreach. Previously, he founded a series of other successful high-tech start-ups and international non-profits. This followed 15 years as a news reporter and journalism professor, earning a law degree along the way. With his brother, Ken, he co-founded DeepLook using the same core technology to search the Internet for trademark infringement. Greg lives in Connecticut and can often be seen sailing single-handed throughout Long Island Sound.

Ken Boulange - CEO, CTO

Based in northern California, Ken has over 25 years of experience in senior software development and implementation across multiple industries. He's specialized in digital graphics and imaging analysis for the gaming, graphics, and photo-production industries and has led the global integration of complex gaming systems. Throughout those years, he developed his own shape-search technology that was first applied to track trademark infringements. That core technology has now been patented for medical imaging. When not deep in marathon coding sessions, Ken can be found wake-surfing the headwaters of San Francisco Bay.

Marissa Fayer

Marissa Fayer, a national voice for women's health, is EVP of Women's Health for DeepLook. At Hologic, Marissa helped develop the groundbreaking tomosynthesis mammography system; she also has deep experience in industry operations and philanthropic innovation. Ms. Fayer is founder and CEO of the non-profit social enterprise, HERHealthEQ, which reduces female mortality in developing nations by distributing NCD-focused medical device equipment. Previously, Marissa served as an executive at Olympus (formerly ACMI), Maquet-Getting (formerly Atrium Medical), Providien Medical, and Accumed Innovative Technologies. In consulting positions, she facilitated several successful acquisition integrations that grew one company to over $2B, advised on 12 mergers and acquisitions, and grew another business by $64M in one year. Marissa is a TEDx Speaker (2019 at TEDxLugano) and was honored as one of the Top 100 Women in Medtech in 2018, awarded the 2018/9 Africa Development Award, named to Wonder Women of Medtech in 2017, and is a keynote speaker on women's health and social innovation. Marissa graduated from Boston University with a BS in Manufacturing Engineering and holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut.

Mike Thomas

We first met Mike Thomas when he was one of three partners managing a $150M strategic venture capital fund at the Inova Health System. He invested in DeepLook - and we've benefited from his strategic guidance ever since. Mike is a seasoned CEO, serial entrepreneur, and venture capitalist in digital health, medical device, and healthcare services. He's delivered investor returns ranging from 4x to 80x with six early-stage healthcare technology startup ventures, and he's raised over $125M in VC and public market funding. Mike builds and funds innovative healthcare technology firms from his offices in Boston and Annapolis.

Norm Schneider

Norm Schneider is a partner in the Kamerow Law Firm in Alexandria, VA. Norm is DeepLook's lead seed investor, actively involved in strategic planning and aligning company and investor interests - a bedrock DeepLook objective. Professionally, he has been involved in numerous high profile legal cases, including representing women who have been victims of sexual assaults by work superiors and girls who have been victims of sexual misconduct by teachers and coaches. Norm has litigated matters throughout the nation and is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. He is legal advisor to a $20M charitable fund, authored law review articles on psychology and the law, and has been an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center.

Steve Schwadron - COO

Steve served over 25 years as a congressional chief of staff, guiding businesses to navigate the Washington policy maze. He leads DeepLook's regulatory initiatives, advocacy outreach, and investor relations - and keeps the company's trains running on schedule. An attorney and former newspaper reporter, he previously collaborated with fellow co-founder, Greg, on other ambitious projects, including public diplomacy initiatives in Cuba. Steve is also an accomplished violinist, active in numerous community orchestras and chamber ensembles.
