EVERETT'S FURNITURE

Everett's Furniture was started by Everett Gunsolley as a combination used furniture store and shoe repair facility. During the Depression, Everett worked as a packing house worker by day and did shoe repair in his small shoe shop at night. In 1932, Everett and his family moved resulting in excess personal furniture, so he placed it for sale in the shoe repair shop. The furniture sold and Everett's Furniture began. The business grew and through the years was relocated four times. The present multi-acre facility, built in 1982, has been expanded three times. Everett's Furniture is now owned and operated by Everett's son Jerry and daughter Judy, who have been active in the business since they were teenagers. Since its beginning, this business has always strived to bring great furniture values to customers.
