FAVRET LAW - Key Persons

Bruce Favret

Job Titles:
  • Ohio Bar Association Certified Specialist
  • Team Members
Bruce Favret is an Ohio Bar Association certified specialist in estate planning, wills, trusts and probate law. From the day he first opened his law office over 30 years ago, Bruce's passion was for helping people. He handled divorces, bankruptcy, accident cases, real estate transactions, corporations, DUI's and most general legal problems his clients had. However, he found that he most enjoyed helping his clients with their estate planning needs, such as preparing their wills, helping them select guardians and executors, and determining how to best distribute assets to their beneficiaries. The more wills he prepared and estates he probated, the more referrals he received. Most all of his business has come from referrals from his clients, financial advisors, bankers and other lawyers. He gradually phased out his general practice and now, for the past two decades, Bruce has limited his practice to handling only wills, trusts, probate and estate planning. He is licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky. Bruce is one of less than 160 attorneys in Ohio who have taken and passed the specialty examination and has been certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a Specialist in wills, trusts and probate law. (Kentucky does not certify specialties in legal fields.) Bruce understands that each client has unique needs and concerns. His passion for helping people shines through because he takes the time to learn about his clients and their families. He explains the estate and probate law in simple, understandable terms. He helps his clients with their goals and objectives and he explains the pros and cons of the various options available to accomplish those goals. In addition, the knowledge and experience learned from his general practice of his early years has proven very beneficial to his estate planning practice. Knowing the real estate law and domestic relations procedures provides extra insight into overall estate planning. He strives to provide quality service, in a friendly, timely, and cost-effective manner. Bruce has helped hundreds of clients and families and he can help you with your unique needs. Education: Chase College of Law, Xavier University
