You come from multiple sectors of the gas industry, from being a top-of-the-line, highly decorated engineer in the field to working design for some of the biggest name boiler manufacturers in the world. The other friendly face of our new entrant's training, Alan, trains alongside Surge to ensure a balance we call yin and yang; you'll see how these two teaching methods work perfectly. The knowledge doesn't stop at natural gas with Alan… you will also find him leading the heat pump rollout for the U.K. by providing training for all engineers looking to jump into this sector.

Avril has been with the team at Gastec for multiple years and is head of all administrative matters. Anything you need to book a course is in safe hands with Avril's years of experience. The moment you walk through our doors, you will be greeted with a smiling face to introduce you to our facilities. Any questions about expanding your business opportunities in the centre will be answered in a friendly and professional manner at any hour of the day. Maria has been with Gastec training since its formation three decades ago, now specialising in looking after military service leavers looking for resettlement into a new career path. Maria is known to everyone who comes through the doors as the woman to speak to if you want to expand your business. From attending trade and military service leaver shows, the face for all personal requirements and questions to Gastec has not changed for almost thirty years. Taking pride in our high pass rates and dedication to service leavers and civilians alike, you will see the banter for yourself once you sit in one of our modern classrooms with Maria for an introduction.

Gastec's newest team member, Oliver, has made somewhat of a name for himself over the last couple of years. Anyone with a technical booking query or bespoke course requirement would have been dealt with on the same day with Oliver's professional approach and quick turnaround times. Oliver looks after our online booking system behind the scenes for the administrative team and has quickly taken to it. Working towards his first qualifications, we are excited to see what the future holds for this bright new grafter.
Lisa has been at the core of our office for over 20 years, our girl for all things new entrants, if you have ever been in contact with Lisa, you will know there is nothing about new entrants courses she doesn't have complete control over. With over 20 years of experience answering your questions, you can always rest assured that a booking with Lisa is in safe hands. Paul has been with Gastec for almost 24 years, training and assessing to the highest standards in our industry. The friendly approach to training has put thousands of engineers at ease over the years, and it's easy to see why with Paul's approach. Ricky has been a core member of the Gastec team for almost 20 years now and is head of all things assessments. Any time our phone rings for technical field support, rest assured Rick will be there to guide you through it.

Gastec's forever ‘new girl' has been overseeing all administrative work for almost 20 years. If you have spoken with Sharon, you would know that no question is left unanswered, and the attention to detail will always be given back to you. Working alongside Lisa and Avril, ensuring all information about our courses finds its way to you and no stones are left unturned. Our long-time admin girls have personalities, each so unique, and that's no different for Sharon. There's always a light-hearted joke with our Sharon when you call, not every booking has to be boring. Knowing many of you engineers personally, Sharon has built up close relations over the years, treating each booking with due care and attention.
Steve founded Gastec Training after seeing a huge skill gap in the industry and an outcry from people looking to become skilled tradespeople. Hard work and constant personal training and development have brought Steve through three decades of training and over six decades of being in the industry. From the early days of training everyone himself and moving on to assessing candidates and internally verifying Gastec's assessors, it's safe to say Steve has held every seat in the building at one point or another.
